Me and my boyfriend loved this place! I consider it to be my best hotel experience! :) The room was very pretty and clean, the whole place looks very fresh. I normally do not like "royal" style but there it totally made sense! The host was very kind and nice. She was very attentive, we could feel that she cared about our stay there. Separate excitement towards the pool - you can book time to spend privately in a pool underground. It looks like cave and we enjoyed staying there with glasses of champagne. I also loved french breakfast in a nice room with classical music. If you are looking for a romantic stay - definitely choose this hotel. It will make you feel like a prince or a princess! You receive a heartfelt welcome into the beautiful home of David and Sabrina. The house is 300 plus years old and is decorated in a more traditional style. It has been renovated with love to a very high standard and they are justifiably proud. The location is brilliant being just inside the walled old city and near their impressive domed church. The secured parking is well worth it in my opinion as you are out of the way behind a locked gate as opposed to the busy narrow streets. Numerous bars and restaurants are just a street away. Breakfast is super with bread, preserves, pastries, ham, cheese and fruits. David is on hand to make sure you are ok and then leaves you to it. We didn't take advantage of using the swimming pool but I believe it those who do really enjoy it This is a well run place that offers lovely accommodation provided by a great couple. You really should consider the Chambre d' hote if you should find yourself in Boulogne Sur Mer.

This place is 5 stars hands down. The way David and Sabrina welcome and take care of you is outstanding. The place is refined, beautiful and historic. The rooms are spacious and luxurious with great taste. Breakfast is out of this world. The swimming pool in the cellar is unique and so many other surprises. The most romantic place in Boulogne sur mer and probably in the region. Forget the problem of no parking space belonging to the Mansion. The public parking is next door and super-safe. If you come with a very expensive car and a bit of apprehension, David has a close by solution for you as well.

Excellent weekend

We stayed at the les chambres d'hôtes du château at the beginning of August. We received a warm welcome as well as a tour through the house with information about its history. The room had everything we needed, and was a perfect deal for the price. We can also highly recommend the pool.
