Outstanding. Look no further if you wish to enjoy delicious seafood and freshly caught fish in Toulouse. The restaurant is modern and cozy, and the staff helpful and of great advice. Highly recommended! I'd advise booking in advance.

recently dined at Chez Jeannot and had the pleasure of trying their salmon dish as an entry and the fish as main dish. I must say, it was an outstanding experience! The salmon was cooked to perfection, and the flavors were exquisite. The ambiance of the restaurant added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. I highly recommend trying the salmon dish or any kind of fish there. It's a must-visit for any seafood lover! the dessert contain fruits option that I entirely enjoyed mint & orange sliced and iced 🤩

A last minute visit en route to the airport from Toulouse train station. The staff kindly fitted us in and were above and beyond in friendly (spoke French and English) helpful service. The food was plentiful, presented with style, fresh fish and fantastic flavours. They kindly stored our suitcase whilst we dined, and went out of their way to book us a taxi (a tough task when other modes of transport were striking and unavailable. Merci!

The price is reasonable ! Oyster is very good. Calm and mussels are raw which is quite special experience to us! If you like seafood and oysters, worth to try

The place has a good selection of seafood ! Super . Our table was outside on the street , super super sunny , not the best seat. Not able to sit there and enjoy . And also the services level could be improved .

The food was excellent. We had oysters, tartare of salmon and lemon pie and café Gourmand. Very friendly personnel. They made a mistake with the bill but it was rectified really easy and fast.

Arrived on a Sunday with no reservation and got a seat outside without a problem. Inside was quite busy as it was a fairy hot day but the seats outside were all under umbrellas. The grilled razor clams were brilliant. The half portion has seven which was plenty for one. Service was a little hit and miss. The servers tend to congregate inside and spend little time outside so you have to grab them when you can. However the staff was very nice. Good choice of wine

All the seafood were fresh! The prawns and crab were good! The cooked salmon was good too, the plate looked sumptuous with the mashed potato and salad. The service was really good, everyone was professional. They have English menu which was a breath of fresh air, not many restaurants in Toulouse have English menu. The decor is beautiful, tables nicely planned, and the ambiance is elegant. You enter with all the seafood on display, and through another door you are greeted with royal blue walls and good furnitures. Everyone greets you smiling and the waiters in good spirit. It was a pleasant dinner with friends. Will come back again!

Good variety of seafood. After reading the other reviews I was expecting more in terms of taste. It is worth the visit to try something different

We arrived shortly after 7pm, were told there was no availability, but if we promised to be finished our meal by 9pm, the hostess could seat us. No problem...the four of us were jet lagged, so it would be an early night regardless. Lovely Sancerre, followed by two wonderful fish dishes, a seafood risotto, and a risotto St Jacques. With just enough room for dessert, we ordered tiramisu and a millefeuille that we shared with our spouses. Only two issues with our dinner...we had to ask for butter to go with our bread, and then did not receive enough; and the Caesar salads were less than impressive due to insufficient to non-existent dressing. Regardless, was still a wonderful meal...and we departed by 8:45pm.

Unfortunately we couldn't eat anything. We reserved a table for two at 20 January 2023, 20:00h. We arrived on time. But we waited 40 minutes just to be able to order. After 25 minutes I got tired of waiting and went to look at the oyster bar. But my husband was at the table waiting to order. When I came back to the table, no one came. We waited another 10 minutes for someone to come and ask for our order. Then I went to the lady who said she would take our order and said that we had been waiting for half an hour. She replied that I was not at the table.. I said my husband was at the table. Than we waited other 8 minutes. And the lady didn’t come. It was 43 minutes and so we decided to leave. We had a very bad evening in Toulouse because of the disrespectful and unkind attitude of the lady we thought she was the manager. As a couple who have traveled many parts of the world and even in France, we don’t accept this attitude. We didn't get a chance to taste the menu. A good menu is memorable with good staff.

Excellent place for seafood lovers. Server was very accomodating in the beginning but swapped with another one who was less attentive. I had swordfish and although I asked not to be overcooked it was. Overall it was good and nice place.

The food was delicious, excellent presentation, each course was well balanced great texture and flavours. Thanks for the waiter it was reflected in his work that he is really professional and he clearly takes pride in his work. A fantastic experience highly recommended.

Phenomenal lunch time value. Seafood platter of oysters, whelks, prawns and periwinkles along with two glasses of wine and two coffees. €40 total. Fantastic service too.

Oysters were amazing, recommendations were spot on and the staff was friendly, fun and professional! Definitely a place I would come back to and recommend.

Well, the risotto here is just excellent, it’s one of the best I tried in France. The scallops on top were nicely pan fried, and the risotto itself was creamy and rich. I’ll give it a 10/10 and will definitely come back again the next time I visit Toulouse for work.

Magnificent! We would definitely come back to Toulouse, only to have dinner at Chez Jeannot again. Lovely staff, quick service, central location near the Capitole, and delicious fresh seafood at a reasonable price. A must-go if you’re visiting Toulouse.

Food, ambiance, service...just very good. Efficient but not 'in your face' service. Reasonable wine selection. Try the Seafood Risotto... outstanding.

amazing food and service

Had a big plate of sea food and added one more plate of oysters. The oysters are wonderful, but the crab is just soso. Definitely recommend the oysters. We've also noticed other guests ordering risotto which seems very nice. Maybe you could try it out when you come here.
