Nice
little
café
in
the
little
village
where
I
work.
Seems
popular,
it
showed
up
a
bit
before
lunchtime
and
the
place
was
packed,
mostly
with
moms
with
strollers,
older
folk
and
the
usual
café
crowd
of
tatooed
hipsters
(didn't
know
they
had
these
here
in
the
sticks...).
Nice
choice
of
sandwiches
in
either
baguette
or
croissant,
including
classics
like
jambon
beurre,
chicken
salad
and
tuna
salad,
the
latter
was
my
choice.
The
bread
was
fresh,
the
filling
tasty,
just
the
right
amount
of
mayo.
The
squash
soup
of
the
day
was
also
good.
I'm
not
much
of
a
coffee
drinker,
they
seemed
to
have
a
pretty
wide
selection
of
coffee
drinks,
and
Camelia
Sinensis
teas.
Prices
were
a
little
steep
-
tea
pun
not
intended
-
but
apparently
this
café
has
a
policy
of
hiring
employees
with
special
needs.
I
didn't
notice
it
quite
honestly,
it
just
looked
and
felt
like
a
regular
café,
other
than
the
fact
that
it
was
in
Mont-St-Hilaire
and
not
on
the
plateau.
So
I
guess
making
the
customer
feel
like
he's
doing
a
good
deed
is
worth
forking
over
a
little
extra
coins.
I
know
I'll
be
back,
if
only
because
my
lunch
was
delicious.
