Update:
The
manager
did
reach
out
to
me.
We
both
heard
each
other
out
in
regards
to
the
situation
and
came
to
a
great
ending.
I
appreciate
the
manager
hearing
my
side
of
the
story
and
working
it
out.
My
cousin
and
I
were
regulars
at
the
99
in
Haverhill
for
years
and
the
staff
over
that
15
year
time,
became
more
like
family
then
just
"99
workers".
A
few
years
ago,
I
moved
to
Manchester,
so
we
decided
to
start
meeting
at
the
Salem
99.
Great
experience
so
far.
Meredith,
Sarah
and
Rochelle
(who's
no
longer
working
there)
became
our
new
99
regular
bartenders.
Well,
we
went
there
Wednesday
before
Thanksgiving
and
got
to
meet
Karen,
yes,
that's
her
name.
We
had
two
bowls
of
popcorn
and
each
got
a
boneless
wing
app
and
each
4
small
beers,
in
a
3
hour
period.
We
were
quiet,
kept
to
ourselves,
just
catching
up
like
we
ALWAYS
do.
Upon
asking
for
another
beer,
so
rudely,
and
not
so
quietly
in
front
of
all
other
customers,
Karen
told
me
"you've
had
enough
to
drink!"
This
was
really
shocking,
but
I
politely
asked
for
our
check,
we
paid
and
left.
We're
both
part
time
bartenders
and
know
limits
and
proper
bar
etiquette.
We
were
both
so
embarrassed.
Never
in
all
the
years
or
99
establishments,
has
anything
like
this
ever
happened.
I
watched
Karen
berate
a
customer
that
same
night
for
having
a
license
expire
the
following
day.
She
said
to
him
"I'll
serve
you
tonight,
but
tomorrow
I
won't!"
Why
say
anything?
Serve
him
and
move
on.
His
license
was
fine
that
night.
He
was
also
embarrassed.
I
watched
her
serve
two
regulars
next
to
us,
2
tall
drafts
and
1
small
draft
EACH
in
less
time
we
were
there.
I
guess
it
basically
comes
down
to,
we
weren't
regulars,
Karen
is
not
a
enjoyable
person
to
be
served
by,
when
you're
choosing
which
establishment
to
use,
especially
with
Tuscan
Village
right
next
door.
We're
definitely
going
to
be
choosing
a
new
place
to
meet
up,
which
is
too
bad
because
we
enjoyed
Sarah
on
football
Sundays.
