99s Restaurant offers a fantastic dining experience with its fair prices and the added bonus of complimentary popcorn, creating an undeniably cool atmosphere. Erica, our bartender, provided excellent service to both Max and me. I personally enjoyed indulging in a cold, refreshing Blue Moon beer while savoring the flavors of their All-Star Burger. Although Max wasn't particularly fond of his steak tips, I thoroughly enjoyed our meal and have cherished numerous memorable moments at this location.

My boyfriend and I love getting takeout from here, it’s reasonably priced and decent food. But every time we order food from here we end up sitting outside waiting for curbside service for way longer than necessary. Today we accidentally told them the wrong pickup name (my mistake not theirs) but instead of them saying they didn’t have an order under the name they just kept telling us that it wasn’t ready yet. Ultimately we sat outside for 30 minutes wasting our gas until finally I went inside and asked about our order that was sitting on the shelf behind them. If I wanted to sit and wait for my food for that long I would’ve dined in.

Tonight my family ordered takeout at the 99’s and I substituted french fries for broccoli as my side for my spicy crispy chicken sandwich and the amount of broccoli given was definitely less than I expected but the chicken for my sandwich was HUGE so overall, a good enough experience.

Good quality food. Feels like a local restaurant. They have their own craft beer brewed by harpoon brewery called Horseshoe Ale and it is delicious! For an appetizer I suggest getting the gold fever wings! The service is always good. On a Friday or Saturday night the wait can get pretty long but you can do call ahead seating which I suggest.

Called and ordered for pick up king sized smothered steak tip mediumwell with baked potato and corn. Got 5 tips for $30 plus and the potato was missing and steak was medium rare. Have had problems here before and they still can't get the orders right. Very disappointed.

I have food allergies (soy and gluten), which make ordering food a nightmare sometime. After ordering, the manager came out and walked me through my options. I ordered the smothered steak tips. He suggested making quite a few ingredient changes to make sure my items came out tasty and allergen free! They were delicious. I grew up in the area and I've never had someone pay so much attention to detail on my order (outside of telling me "sorry, that has soy/gluten"). I really appreciated it! This is a go-to spot for my family so I'll definitely be returning on my next visit home!

My friend and I ordered on line, with the option to pick up the food, which we did. When we arrived, the greeter outside informed us he could not find the order, and went back and forth inside. Long story short we wound up giving him the order of what we ordered online. Not only did they get the order incorrect, the food was HORRIBLE!! I mean, I specifically said a garden salad, no croutons. They gave me what seemed like just a bunch of lettuce, parmesan cheese and croutons! I wanted a garden salad. I ordered steaktips medium rare. They might have been medium rare from what I could see, but the quality and temperature was unacceptable. Yep, everything was cold! I feel bad for my friend because she has a medical condition and has to eat. I can attest - her burger was RAW. I could go on and on, but bottom line - I will never go back to this restaurant or any other 99 which makes me sad because she used to be good.

Been here many times and many locations. Had the country fried chicken, which was very good. My only complaint is about the crackers and cheese. Don’t know whose idea it was to change the cheese recipe, but it wasn’t a good one. Wish they would go back to the non-blu cheese recipe, I would not order it until then.

Used to be good but has gone downhill. Tried it again last night. They advertised a new menu so I had hope! Had the lobster haddock. It was awful. Only ate a little bit. When the waiter took it away he didn't even ask why. This was my third try in hopes it would be good again. Not going back again.

Okay, this place used to be my go to place. But over the past several years their food quality has gone way down. The steak tips are awful. Their burgers are probably the best thing on their menu. In my opinion... find somewhere else to go.

Service was great and attentive. The food was okay for what it was. Feel like prices are just steep everywhere for what you get. The atmosphere was a bit cramped and hard to move around or hear each other speak, but suppose that's to be expected this time of year on a Sunday night.

My family wanted burgers, so we did a to-go order. We have allergies in our family and I felt super safe here, the allergy was clearly alerted and labeled as free of the allergen. The service/delivery to my car was awesome as well. For three of us to get our burger fix, the bill came to just under $40. And the burgers were cooked exactly how we asked. Highly recommend!

Food was really good and service was even better. Caleb was attentive but not too much, funny and made the experience 10 times better. Would go back just to be served by him again

I ordered ribs. I wasn't to impressed with the $22.99 price. This is crazy I expected them to at least be falling off the bone. Nope, no, nunta.! My daughters steak was grissily. My son's potatoes where cold. For the money we spent I don't think I will be going to eat there anti.e soon I could go on about the lame service and atmosphere but I won't!

We travel 22 mins to this particular 99 restaurant rather than 4miles from home because everything is on point every time. They had exceptional customer service, Caleb our waiter was so attentive to our family. Our food came out perfect and hot. Cold salad plate was a perfect touch, you can't even get that Gordon Ramsay Kitchen. The New England fried shrimp was cooked golden and thank you for not seasoning our french fries. Thank you all for making a wonderful family time and meal.

We stopped here on the way home from Boston for a bite to eat. We were seated right away and were attended to promptly. Much of the booth and table seating are ringed around the bar. There are a lot of televisions all around and it's difficult not to look when you're seated. Unfortunately there was an ultimate fighting match going on. It was very bloody and gory, not the best accompaniment to eating dinner. It's more of a bar than a restaurant so if you don't mind that the food was very good for the prices and the service was excellent. My granddaughter loved the mac and cheese and she is picky about what she eats. It came as an appetizer and she wanted another one after she finished that. I got the sirloin tips with the mashed potatoes and broccoli and everything was done perfectly. A little bit too much pepper on the tips but a lot of people like that so I get it. The taste was fantastic otherwise.

Went there tonight with my 85 year old mother in law. Horrible food. I got the baked haddock it was extremely dry. Loaded mashed potatoes were tasteless and dry. Our server brang us our bill saying they are wrapping it up at 8:53. Never asked us if we wanted anything else. However they seated other customers after we were told they were wrapping it up. I have been going there for years. My last experience was also horrible. The food was awful. Thought I would give it another shot but no just as bad. They have gone downhill. Very dissatisfied. Never going back!

Ample menu options, reasonably priced, good size, tasty portions. Very busy but well staffed, quick service. Great drinks if you're into extended happy hour, large bar seating area. Fresh popcorn always free while you wait for your drinks and food. They also started a rewards program, so will be going back for more.

Update: The manager did reach out to me. We both heard each other out in regards to the situation and came to a great ending. I appreciate the manager hearing my side of the story and working it out. My cousin and I were regulars at the 99 in Haverhill for years and the staff over that 15 year time, became more like family then just "99 workers". A few years ago, I moved to Manchester, so we decided to start meeting at the Salem 99. Great experience so far. Meredith, Sarah and Rochelle (who's no longer working there) became our new 99 regular bartenders. Well, we went there Wednesday before Thanksgiving and got to meet Karen, yes, that's her name. We had two bowls of popcorn and each got a boneless wing app and each 4 small beers, in a 3 hour period. We were quiet, kept to ourselves, just catching up like we ALWAYS do. Upon asking for another beer, so rudely, and not so quietly in front of all other customers, Karen told me "you've had enough to drink!" This was really shocking, but I politely asked for our check, we paid and left. We're both part time bartenders and know limits and proper bar etiquette. We were both so embarrassed. Never in all the years or 99 establishments, has anything like this ever happened. I watched Karen berate a customer that same night for having a license expire the following day. She said to him "I'll serve you tonight, but tomorrow I won't!" Why say anything? Serve him and move on. His license was fine that night. He was also embarrassed. I watched her serve two regulars next to us, 2 tall drafts and 1 small draft EACH in less time we were there. I guess it basically comes down to, we weren't regulars, Karen is not a enjoyable person to be served by, when you're choosing which establishment to use, especially with Tuscan Village right next door. We're definitely going to be choosing a new place to meet up, which is too bad because we enjoyed Sarah on football Sundays.

The food was ok. The server was fantastic. We told her we were in a bit of a rush and she made sure our food came quickly. That being said the hostess was rude and didn’t seem to care that she messed up. Upon arriving I put my name in and was told 20min. We waited and as the 20 min mark approached I saw 4 parties that arrived after us be seated before us. Three of them were parties of 3, the same as us. When confronted they said that I didn’t put my name in and then told me that a table just opened and they could seat me after 35 min wait. That is why my poor waitress had to rush. It is unfortunate that the server had to make up for poor hostess staff. I would not recommend going here.

This is a good restaurant with a varied menu and a nice atmosphere. The service was super fast and the waiter was extremely nice. At the beginning of the service, he introduced himself by name and served us a pop corn for a snack. The food we ordered arrived quickly. Everything was delicious. The dishes were beautifully presented. In general, LIKE.

We had a great experience at the 99 in Salem,NH. The food was very good, the portions were big, and the cost was reasonable. We had Sarah as our waitress and she was awesome. She was nice, checked on us often and gave us super service with a smile. Definitely going back.

I had not been there in years. My recent visit was so disappointing. My sister got country fried chicken which was so overcooked that it was hard like a hockey puck. I got the cranberry apple pecan salad. Most places have the chicken in the salad warm and delicious. Even Wendy's salad is so much better! The chicken was ice cold and the apple chunks were huge and not cut up small enough. My nephew got the new item on the menu which was barbecue ribs. They looked and tasted like the ribs were boiled and then put on the grill for a few minutes and then covered with barbecue sauce. Next time I'll be sure to go to T Bones just up the road where the food is so much better.

Its my first time visiting, I had the chicken parm. The service was great but the chicken i found it a little too cooked , the cheese burger my son ordered was great nice and juicy. Will be back but will try a different dish.

My husband, son and I usually have a good experience. We ordered take out as we usually do and we have on several occasions have had to go in and get our order. Not a deal breaker. But last night we ordered takeout got there on time when an employee came out and said they were waiting on 1 item. Order came out soon after. We got home and I cut my black bean burger in half and half the burger broke apart and fell out. Took a bite and the burger was cold like it was just taken out out of fridge. Extremely disappointed.

This place is amazing! I don’t know how they do it, but we’ve tried so many dishes, and EVERYTHING is delicious! The servers are so courteous, patient and accommodating. Kids eat free with adult meals. It’s a great place for our family.
