It's not terrible, but it's definitely not a beach I'd ever like to go back. The whole place looks so untidy. The seawater there is full of debris and surprisingly muddy for the ocean. It's two only perks are its proximity to the city and it being wavy , which could potentially make it a nice surfing destination.

A peaceful site. If u r looking for relaxing urself this is the perfect place. As well there are many different things that you can do, like visiting the salgar's castle...

Great beach during the week no mayor crowds

For locals the place is good over the weekend for travelers any time is perfect, is the Colombian Caribbean described by Gabriel Garcia Marquez!

It is a nice place, it's beach! I recommend to ask for Mañe he is an honest, responsible and fair guy. His wife and daughter cooks delicious I definitely love that place. Against: sometimes the sea take out some dirtyness. Like piece of wood and leaves.

I have been going there for over 20 years. It is the best beach of the Atlantico. My kids loved going there anytime of the year. Great food, service, people and beach. Very safe, economical and close to Barranquilla. They are improving the roads and making it more atractive. See and experiece it yourself.
