I was extremely unimpressed by the till manager’s human interactive skills. My friend had a issue and was at risk of being late to her shift, and called in to make them aware. The woman on the phone was being very argumentative and disagreeable. My friend was unable to finish their explanation so I pitched in to fill out the details on our setback. I was then greeted with an excessive amount of hostility as I had “very rudely interrupted on a phone call between an employee and their manager. Yes, I understand it was not my place to say anything. My friend had just had a stressful and costly vehicle mishap and was barely able to finish each word. I was well worded and polite, and was assisting her employee on getting there in time. I called back later and was met with the same moody woman and her unprofessional banter. In my personal opinion as a friend to an employee, and as a previous customer, I do not think this woman is fit for a position of authority. Our town needs to have a healthy new generation of well educated young adults, not argumentative, irrational, people who turn a deaf ear to concerns. There’s no small line between tough love and abusing power. It’s a big gap that causes lots of future behavioural complications

Hey pharmacy, sounds like you need some training on your telephone manner. Stop talking to people like they’re stupid and don’t know anything. Stop refusing to fax things/ transfer things when I know you can. It’s a bit ridiculous, never had this experience with any other shoppers ever. And yes, this has happened multiple times at this location

The pharmacist was incredible. His name was KK. I forgot my medication and I am out here on holidays for a week. He called my local pharmacy and got all my information transferred over. Then it turned out that I was out of refills - so he sold me emergency medication. He was calm, friendly and very knowledgeable. I couldn't believe how great the customer service was.

I want to say thanks to Shopper’s for the many years they looked after my late mother. I found them friendly and went out of their way to deliver meds when needed. Professional and kind and wonderful group.

Radar in customer service saved our day. Kept the store open a few extra minutes so we could get my daughters medical supplies. We were on vacation in the area and out of an item. He helped us out and that was amazing. Found exactly what we needed for us. Thanks Radar your the best!

Convenient location in the Picadilly Mall. Lots of free parking. Postal outlet in store. Open till 10 pm most days. Beside the Starbuck's outlet

Blonde younger cashier wasn’t very kind. I’ll chop it up to a bad day. I came in with my 5 year old and when we went to leave my son tried to get my my phone and I ended up bumping into him with my items, and she looked at me like I was a child abuser. Non stop glaring at me. She had an attitude the whole time. Not friendly whatsoever.

My husband and I are from Kamloops and were in Salmon Arm passing through. Mike Huitema had gone out of his way to provide us with some information regarding Oxygen services (the SDM does not deal with Vital Air) Thank you Mike. I was in store 2 weeks ago and was helped by Melissa. There was 1 more sweet Punjabi female. I think this was the best visit I had at this location. Felt welcomed for once and both the females were very patient. I have never received samples before at this location even with my $100 plus purchases which I have received from other locations and online. But this time I was given samples to try which will help me with my next purchase all thanks to Melissa.

This location is usually great but… earlier today I called and asked if there was someone there that could do passport photos today. They were very polite and responded with yes but not until 5:30pm you can come between 5:30pm and 10pm and there will be someone here to take them for you just talk to someone at the front and they will call. This was great news! I needed the service and ASAP so I was happy to hear this. So later on after I got my kid down to sleep I went down to get my photos. I arrived at about 7:30pm not a busy parking lot, and far from a busy store. I asked a young girl working in one of the isles where I had to go to get passport photos, she tells me to ask at cosmetics. So I trot down to cosmetics and find an older gentlemen with a balding head just like myself(apparently this is the manager on duty). I ask him the same question. His response is ya thats me I can’t do it right now I am to busy and have 6 tills to close so I can’t do it. I paused and basically looked at the situation and said well this doesn’t make sense because it takes about 15-20min to do these photos maximum a half an hour. I said that sounds pretty crazy. I was the only customer in the isles at this time all the other customers (maybe 3-4) in the store where being served by the pharmacy staff. The manager was just stocking shelves I’m more than confident he could have stopped and helped me out and the other younger employee I’m sure would have if she had the ability to do so. This seemed like a case of laziness. Not wanting to set things up or not wanting to turn on the photo computer or maybe just pure unwillingness to help. Not sure but I’m sure the regional manager or whomever is above the manager I spoke to would think this was a bit odd. Considering I also called earlier in the day to confirm I would be able to get them. I sure won’t be going to a shoppers tomorrow to get them done. Be aware they may deny you services just because. But on the flip side these guys pharmacy staff are awesome and I’ve never had any issues they are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Update: Received a very prompt email from the the Front Store Manager for this store Sandi. She very kindly agreed that this was not store protocol and apologized as well as offered to do the photos for no charge. It was too late but I really appreciated the acknowledgment and quick customer service from management. They definitely tried to make it right! Kudos and thank you for the effort.

Basic shoppers. Nice staff in the cosmetics section. Can't say anything about the staff in other sections because I've never interacted with them, sure they're also nice though.
