My husband and I have been seeing Melanie since she first opened her practice in Salmon Arm. At first it was just for general well being and health, but once we wanted to start to try for a family, our focus shifted and how Melanie treated us became more specific. After 2 years of unexplained fertility, I decided it was time to ramp things up and take Melanie's fertility program more seriously. This involved treatments once a week for me, and once every 2-3 weeks for my hubby. It was definitely an investment of time and money, but the science behind it and the proven positive outcome this has had for others, helped us decide we had nothing to lose. After almost 6 months of consistent treatments, we got our first positive pregnancy test! We were in complete and utter shock. We were waiting to be seen by a fertility clinic, and to make the call to them that we didn't need their help any longer was surreal! I am now 14 weeks pregnant, and so so grateful for Melanie and the treatments and support she has given us! Her caring and gentle bedside manner is so appreciated. She doesn't feel like just another health care practitioner, but rather a friend who truly cares about her patients.

My osteopath referred me to Melanie for acupuncture. I am so grateful as I am in a much better place. I have experienced discomfort from TMJ disorder/jaw pain for many years. I sleep in a mouth guard. In 2022 the pain became extreme. It was difficult to bite and chew food and I couldn’t open my mouth very wide. My dentist said I could try Botox injections. Salmon Arm Acupuncture Clinic and Melanie were suggested as a possible option. I started regular weekly treatment. I felt relief after two treatments which continued to improve. A year later and I have no or very minimal pain in my jaw. I continue to receiving treatment about once a month. I am thrilled and grateful to have finally found long term relief. Melanie and her practice offer a professional and welcoming space. All of my treatments have been fully explained and all questions answered. This was my first experience with acupuncture and I am so happy with the results.

Hey, so I have had lower back pain coming and going for years. To the point I wasn’t able to stand up straight or walk correctly. I’ve tired other treatments but never had acupuncture done to me before so I must say I was a little nervous. The staff at Salmon Arm Acupuncture is so calm and thoughtful. Melanie is so professional and makes the whole experience comforting and ( a bit to my surprise) very relaxing. My back has never felt better and I have full mobility after only two treatments. I highly recommend Melanie and her staff as they are kind, patient and caring individuals but most of all the treatments work!
