My 7 year old son was just there to have a tooth extracted and had a very terrible and disturbing experience. Dr Ryan after trying laughing gas but my son was having trouble breathing through his nose and it wasn’t working and even after my son said it still hurt they told him it doesn’t hurt they insisted that it was just pressure and said it was infected so it had to come out and yanked it. My son screamed in pain so loud the whole office heard it. Now he’s in extreme pain and they were completely un-sympathetic. Dr Ryan ask my son “what haven’t you ever been kicked in the balls because that hurts more than this” like, what the heck?! Also he was looking out of the office to young boy on the bench telling my son that, that boy was a dork because he was on his phone and didn’t notice some attractive teen girls walking by??? Who talks to a 7 year old like this? And the reception scorning my son about taking care of his teeth after he just went through hell in their office….. never going there again. Plus if it was infected like the dentist said he should have gone on antibiotics first to clear the infection before extracting Very angry with orchard heights dental!

****UPDATE Nov 8, 2023 Dr Ryan Bigelow and his team are so wonderful and caring! Today I needed a tooth pulled and Ryan did it with such care. I have bad anxiety at dentist but he and his team help you get through it. Highly recommend still!! 2019: Absolute BEST dentist I have ever been to and I have gone to a dentist every 6 months since I was a kid. I had been going to another practice for many years when I had a bad experience that had me leaving before the procedure was even completed. I waited a long time before I went back to a dentist... I found Acorn and over the past 2 years they have "nursed" my anxieties and got me back to a happy place. I really can't say enough how fantastic they are. Very professional set up. State of the art everything. Great views. Great humour. You will be relaxed and get superior treatment. I love ACORN. And they are fast.

I made the switch to Acorn recently and I am extremely happy with my decision. My first visit we discovered I needed my wisdom teeth out, after previously never being told at dental exams elsewhere it was recommended. My second visit was a hygiene visit and again, left happy. I booked my wisdom teeth extraction at that time. I am a very nervous person with anything medical. I felt like I was very well cared for during my visit. Unfortunately, about a week after my extraction, I developed an infection. The intense pain started on a Friday evening, after which I had just run out of the prescribed pain killers. I was able to get ahold of Dr. Ryan who opened the office for me on a Saturday to see me and write a new prescription to help with the pain, a prescription for antibiotics and put medication directly on the extraction sites to give almost immediate relief. I am extremely happy with my decision to bring my family here. Thank you to the amazing staff, Dr. Ryan, and Dr.Sandy for the amazing care!
