This
restaurant
was
one
of
the
highlights
of
my
trip
through
France.
I
still
can't
believe
that
it
is
one
individual
who
worked
every
aspect
of
the
kitchen
upon
my
visit.
It
is
important
to
note
that
during
dinner
service,
O'Bidul
only
sat
approximately
12-16
people,
so
it
is
important
to
make
a
reservation
(DO
IT,
SO
WORTH
IT).
Starting
with
the
atmosphere,
the
establishment
was
clean,
there
was
enough
space
between
guest,
the
decorations
were
modest
and
all
guest
have
the
ability
to
look
over
to
watch
the
chef
cook.
When
the
chef
finishes
one
job
(cooking,
serving,
etc..)
for
one
group,
he
will
then
serve
you
with
kindness.
The
menu
is
small
and
in
French
(naturally)
but
to
any
traveler,
the
chef
is
patient
and
will
translate
in
English.
It
is
worth
mentioning
the
kindness
of
the
chef,
always
sporting
as
smile
and
full
of
giddiness.
EVERY
DISH
was
beyond
incredible
(honestly
best
I
ever
had).
The
FOOD
felt
UNIQUE,
LOCAL
AND
FRESH.
My
girlfriend
and
I
made
point
of
ordering
different
dishes
from
the
menu
to
then
share,
and
boy,
we
couldn't
help
but
"splurge".
I
use
the
term
splurge
loosely
as
the
food
was
really
well
priced.
Any
young
couple
travelling
through
Europe
will
not
leave
O'Bidul
thinking
they
overspent.
I
think
my
bill
was
a
approx
70
euro,
which
included
two
apps,
two
entrees,
dessert
and
two
drinks.
Our
entire
dinner
was
probably
two
hours
long.
It
could
have
been
much
shorter
but
my
partner
and
I
wanted
to
savor
the
experience.
Whilst
paying
for
dinner,
we
learned
the
chef
used
to
work
at
a
2
Michelin
star
restaurant,
and
he
loves
what
he
currently
is
doing.
This
was
felt
during
the
entire
experience,
and
if
I
ever
find
myself
back
in
Marseille,
I
will
most
definitely
be
going
back.
I
have
already
begun
telling
friends
who
are
travelling
to
France
to
have
dinner
chez
O'Bidul.
Thank
you
for
the
wonderful
time,
Nate
