😐 Disappointing. Given the fact that Castro Alves is one of the greatest Brazilian poets the teather should do more to honour his memory. There is no guided tour and there is only a small collection of superb costumes from previous shows.

    Beautiful theater with excellent audio-visual technology. The lobby is decorated with original art work based on Castro Alves's famous long poem about the horrors of the slave trade. Impressive facility for many reasons.

    The Concha Acústica amphitheater is a great place for concerts. Baco Exu do Blues, the group we saw, was incredible, especially the back vocals.
