My
partner
and
I
stayed
at
Casa
Versace
during
our
short
stay
in
Salvador
(October
2023)
and
highly
recommend
it
to
couples
or
small
families
looking
for
a
safe
and
central
location
in
the
city
centre.
The
place
is
well
located
in
Santo
Antônio
além
do
Carmo,
in
a
charming
and
spacious
colonial
house,
meters
from
all
the
action
and
historical
houses
of
Pelourinho
and
the
historic
centre.
We
were
in
love
with
the
“Carla”
suite,
overlooking
the
Port
of
Salvador
and
the
All
Saints
Bay,
and
our
host
Antonella,
despite
being
away
in
Italy
was
very
accommodating
to
help
us
change
rooms
and
settle.
Don’t
expect
a
hotel
stay
with
breakfast
and
all
the
amenities
that
a
hotel
can
provide
because
that
is
not
the
concept
that
Casa
Versace
is
aiming
for.
Rather
think
of
it
as
a
combination
of
suites,
AirBNB
style,
with
a
comfortable
bed
and
bathroom
on
the
mezzanine
and
a
spacious
open-concept
living
room
and
a
basic
kitchen
that
you
can
use
to
cook
something
fast
if
you
want.
Given
its
central
location,
you
can
find
everything
around,
from
restaurants
to
shops,
to
ATMs
and
museums…
you
can
even
plan
a
boat
tour
to
visit
the
islands
in
All
Saints
Bay
and
walk
to
the
Port
safely
and
quickly.
We
already
told
our
friends,
if
you
visit
Salvador
and
want
a
great
place
to
stay
downtown,
Casa
Versace
is
the
place
to
go.
