Just
had
to
write
a
review
of
this
place
after
we’ve
just
gotten
back
from
a
holiday
in
Morro
de
São
Paulo
via
Salvador.
We
ate
here
on
the
first
evening
and
on
the
last
and
I
can
say
that
it
was
hands
down
the
best
Moqueca
and
Pastels
we
found
in
the
12
days
of
travelling
through
the
region
-
so
much
so
that
we
went
back
on
the
final
rerun
night
through
Salvador
and
confirmed
it!
The
place
is
located
on
a
very
safe
and
open
street
on
the
main
road
for
the
area,
and
the
atmosphere
is
very
down
to
earth
and
relaxed,
for
both
locals
and
visitors
-
the
proprietor
himself
also
speaks
excellent
English
for
those
who’s
Portuguese
is
still
developing.
I
cannot
recommend
enough
a
visit
to
CQC
for
the
rich
flavour
and
authentic
taste
of
Bahia,
made
with
all
local
and
the
simplest
of
ingredients,
but
you
really
get
a
sense
of
“love”
and
craft
in
the
layers
and
balance
of
all
the
dishes
we
tried.
The
Moqueca
is
the
stand
out
and
obviously
has
to
be
had
with
a
couple
of
caipirinha’s,
but
a
couple
of
tips
-
a
single
Moqueca
will
easily
serve
2/3,
and
the
homemade
chilli
garnish
is
“diabo
quente”
so
use
lightly!
As
someone
who
travels
a
lot
and
who’s
partner
works
in
the
hotel
and
food
industry,
I
can
say
out
of
all
the
restaurants
I’ve
been
to
this
year
of
which
3
have
been
Michelin
Star
(London,
Amsterdam,
Vienna,
Krakow,
São
Paulo)
Cade
Que
Charma’s
is
hands
down
on
of
my
top
two
-
only
on
par
with
177
Portobello
in
London,
and
both
above
any
of
the
rosette’s.
Sadly,
I
forgot
to
take
the
card
of
the
owner/chef,
but
hopefully
if
he
(or
his
mother!)
see’s
this
review
and
are
ever
considering
a
restaurant
or
guest
stint
in
London,
they
are
more
than
welcome
to
get
in
touch!
