I absolutely love going to the Pellegrino during my business trips to Salvador. I always liked walking the back streets, shopping, eating and having cold local beer.

This place is surrounded by old buildings. This is Pelourinho, it's amazing.

The heart of the historic center

This square was always full of activity; whether is be capoeira dancers during the day or turned into a local food and drink festival in the evening. There are plenty of vendors selling paintings and home made crafts if your want something different than what the tourist shops are selling. A whole heap of other significant attractions nearby

Nice atmosphere almost the whole day. Its one of the things to do in the city. Besides the sao francisco church is the most beautiful of the city. Recommend it

Main square. Linked to all smaller squares and area. Centralised. Full of activities.
