This might be one of the best beaches in the area, because is never crowded, water super clear, the right temperature, and there is never waves. Recommend. Bring some food and enjoy the day and possibly sunset! These photos were probably about 1/4 of a mile from the point. So there's no need to stay in the point. Scout an empty area and you will be all set!

One of the best beaches I have ever seen. The water is clean and clear. I will say is better than beaches in Punta Cana in my opinion.

A relatively narrow, but very clean and well maintained beach. They have clearly done a lot of work and spent a good deal of money on stabilising the front after losing much of the sand and part of the road in previous storm surges. The result is a very attractive beach with a pedestrian walkway above the new seawall. The sea remains as inviting as ever and only the very close proximity of the noisy traffic detracts from the otherwise archetypal tropical beach.

Beautiful beach. Not crowded. One of the best in Las Terrenas. At that time, it was extremely windy.

One of the most beautiful beaches I have ever visited. my only advice is to bring your own food, blanket, drinks and just find some shade.

Beautiful clean beach! Lounge chairs out which I guess it's okay to use. At least we did! Lol!

The beach is very beautiful, clean and you can swim a lot, which I like. It is crowded in the weekend, but if you walk to the east, it is very quiet.

A beach with potential from being close to the restaurants. It’s a shame the locals leave their trash all around.. a bit of education there is definitely needed!

This was a nice and pretty beach with a pay for parking beside it. Was not far from the restaurants and from my hotel so it was convenient. Make sure you bring your own chairs though if you do not want to pay for them on the beach.

One of our favorite beaches to walk to at night. Gorgeous beach and the kids loved the boats pulled up on shore.

We have been coming to Punta Popy for over 20 years. The new parking lot costs $300 pesos ($6 USD). We liked it when it was open. Watch coral and the drop off. Beautiful sunsets.

A very well kept beach with plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the views. There is paid parking 150 pesos. Also chairs cost 150 pesos each. You can also order mixed drinks and food.

🫤 I booked this hotel based on the good reviews but was quite disappointed. Las Terrenas is great but this hotel sort of ruined the experience. It’s feels too much like an ibiza-wannabe place, ridiculously overpriced filled with arrogant french people and no longer like i’m in the DR. Location wise we...

👍👍 Loved the diversity in music and the space. The rooftop bar and the main dance floor were fantastic and we loved the Latin dance nights to practice our bachata traditional steps!

😠 The El Loro also operates a very, very noisy beach club that keeps guests of the neighboring Hotel Alisei awake until 2 a.m. . Respectless.

😐 Very good setup. Food and cocktails are affordable price. I sat on the beach just a few feet away from the restaurant. I had to call or whistle for the waiters to come to me. They need to fix that issue. The food well cooked. But was cold when brought to me. Next time I'll sit inside the restaurant....
