This is a hidden gem. We took a jeep to a certain point and then hiked to the lake, the hike from that point is fairly easy. I was stunned at my first glance at the lake. It's surrounded by these tall rocks from which water is dripping. Life jackets and shorts are available at rent if you want to swim(paisay pooray ho jayein gay bawa g). This place is magical! Do visit. Please take the wrappers and bottles with you after you're done because clean Pakistan is beautiful Pakistan.

Swaik or Khandoyah lake nice place to swim and beat the summer heat. Lake is fed by 3-4 small water falls. Life jacket is a must for non swimmer as it is deep. Approach to the lake is difficult. Car Parking is 4 km away from the lake. From there you have to take jeep or can go by foot. From jeep drop off you have to walk almost 1 km of hilly terrain. If you choose to go by foot then you take short cut thru steep hill but still it is almost 3 km. Going by jeep is recommended. The road from Khandoyah village to lake car parking is also non paved and in poor condition. You can go to jeep drop off point by using 4×4 vehicles and motorcycles. Parking is also available there. Try to avoid on public holidays as the place can become very crowded.

It was an amazing experience. I was there a year ago and it was really nice and clean. Government needs to build roads towards lake and provide more facilities. People who go their should care about cleanliness.

A good place for moderate kinda hiking and enjoying the nature

In the mountains a clean blue water lake. Swimming not recommended as it is very risky to swim because no body knows the actuall depth of the lake and alot of people lost life there. But you can enjoy the sight seeing and go just 2 to 3 meters in water. After that it was very deep. After parking 20 mins jeep ride than 30 min walk to reach the place For food only 01 available tuck stall but it is recommended to bring food with you.

2 to 3 times visited this place .. But my advice for new people specially for those, they don't know swimming. You must bring live jacket during this tour because rates are too much high specially on special events like Eid when you wanna bring live jacket on Rent but also heigh too 200 RS per hour. (in 2017 may be now increased) But the last time we faced a problem from police they asked no one go there because in these days we heard some news about the death of some people during swimming in surrounding areas... But after one hour... They asked for money & you can go and enjoy😂 😂 We enjoyed on nearest mountain and watching this live & thinking about it why we didn't wait and go there... such a great experience was that.

Gorgeous lake with a spectacular waterfall. If you are driving don’t follow Google! Follow road signs. You can rent a 4x4 to get to lake which costs around 3k. Only take your own car if it’s a proper 4x4 like Landcruiser. You don’t need 4x4 as much as ground clearance. You can only enter the lake with a life jacket. Available to rent at the lake. Can also rent change of clothes for swimming. Refreshments like tea, pakoray, biscuits available by lake. There is about 10-15 min walk from last parking area to lake so be prepared to walk. Suitable for boys only. Families don’t really have much space. There is a designated corner for families but it’s quite small and the walk is not suitable for younger kids.

A must n must place to visit but there's wrong navigation on Google maps that would lead to you in a village so after you surpass kallar kahar interchange it's better to ask from the locals, they are humble and friendly

Swaik lake is a best place for one day adventure , we travelled in September weather was a little bit hot and humidity ratio was also high do carry water bottles and chocolates with you wear comfortable shoes and clothes while tracking, the track was not maintained well and no proper directions were given the only direction we have was “Pakistan ka jhanday ka neechay jheel ha”

You can park your car and take a jeep that will take you on a rough road for the next 2 to 3 km. Afterward, there are 10 to 15 minutes of track downhill. The water was fresh.

The lake is beautiful. The path shown by Google maps is wrong. Do not follow Google map. Also remember because after kandoha village the distance till lake is around 4-5 kilometers. The trek is not suotable for children and elderly. However the view and scenery really worth th effort.

We visited Swaik Lake on June 11, 2023, and it was a beautiful and fun experience. The lake is accessible by jeep or a 20-minute rocky hike, followed by 15 minutes of trekking from the parking space near Khandoyah village. The lake's crystal-clear, cold water and the surrounding lush greenery and mountains were mesmerizing. Swimmers must visit this lake to enjoy a great swimming experience and have a wonderful time. Life jackets were available for 150-200 rupees. Families and female tourists are recommended to visit on weekdays.

Its also called Khandowa lake. Very adventurous, almost 1.5 hours hiking one side, shortcuts also available, but these shortcuts are not advisable to families. Overall very beautiful lake to visit.

We visited this lake in 2020. First time in my life I saw such fresh and beautiful waterfall which carries the characteristics of lake also. If I allowed to select one out of else, than I will select khandowa jheel or swaik lake.

This place is pretty amazing but walking distance is bit much. It's nature sight in the bottom of mountain which is about 15 to 20 minutes journey from Kalar Kahar M2 motorway Exit.
