A less an hour trip from bangkapi area riding #145 both ordinary and aircon busses we arrived early morning to buy some tasty crabs cost 700 baht for 5 pcs big sizes or 1,200 baht for 3 giant crabs which i love the most of all the seafoods. Fresh fish, clams and mussels are everywhere, a variety of vegetables,fruits, pork and beef meat parts available, sweets delicacies ingridients, food spices, hotdogs, dried shrimp,fish and squid as well. A nearby bus stop have a van straightway to bangkapi for 25 baht fare. Note: Using untidy Restroom cost 5 baht. Bargain as cheap as you can,turn to other shop if needed. A flower shop at the entrance alley At least smile first before clicking a photo. Thailand vegetables are mostly clean that it can be freshly eaten like cabbage,basil, mint and more... This market even so far is worthy to visit due to complete vegetables, dried fish, dried squids, seafoods, beef , chicken, meat, cold cuts, fish, duck and etc., Look the pictures below. Aside from that even foreigners will be confident to buy because of fixed price for everything and what is amazing is that very cheap market compared to others. Near to pier also if your on purpose to crossed the river. Outside you have choices whether to public bus transportation or air conditioned bus or ride the van which is express with the fare of 25baht each person.

One of my favorite morning markets. Here you can find the best moo ping in Thailand. Many other delicious food stalls... Kow moo daeng, cafe bolan, etc. arroy mak!

Great selection of seafood. Nice venders who are willing to help expats, tourist, etc. Also if you catch sunset - an excellent view.

A big seafood market next to the jetty. You can buy fresh and dry seafood here at very reasonable price. Selection is huge and popular with the locals. One of the biggest seafood market outside bangkok. Highly recommended.

You can find anything in this market, I always come around at the afternoon. There's also halal beef butchery here, very fresh meat

It's a wonderful place to buy food ingredients. Specially the fresh fish. Close to Bangkok city. Have easy access to go there by sky train or bus.

Good food market can buy Thai food

By all accounts this is a typical Thai style wet market. Vegetables, meat, fruit, seafood all reside in their own sections. The vegetable section had great variety and very reasonable prices. The meat section would fail any sort of western hygiene codes but apart from that, you get to see all varieties of meat from pork, chicken, beef (although very sparse), and even frogs. The seafood section was particularly disappointing. Although there were selections of live freshwater fish like tilapia, Asian carp, and catfish, the rest of the selections were below par. The saltwater swimmer crabs smelled putrid and at one point, I saw vendors adding red dye to the gills of their fish presumably to make them appear fresh. The squid I bought was clearly treated with some sort of preservative because it gave off an odor of chemical. I would avoid the seafood section here.

Fresh and cheap seafood

I particularly like a chemist who was very helpful and sympathy towards my wound I had on Monday 23rd May. The helped cleaning my wound on my knees with no extra cost. Just found a place where I can purchase Nescafé (Swiss made). Also found a port to go across river ChaoPraya to Phra Samut Jedi. Hoorah...next thing to explore.

Nice place to buy seafood but lots of rats running around. So scary

I found lot of fresh seafoods and acceptable price. Not enough parking space. Moderate hygiene.
