It was cool to see how they preserved nearby historic buildings and retrofitted them with new businesses. Great spot for photography.

Leon Vista Park and Trailhead
Park
👍👍 There's a ton more parking here than I originally realized. I saw a lot of people walking, running, and riding their bikes. The cement paths are well maintained. There's plenty of rocky and fun-looking dirt bike paths winding through the trees. This is a great spot to walk the Leon Vista trailhead.

San Antonio River
Park
👍👍 Such a beautiful walking path alongside the river that can last for miles if you’re up to it. It’s mostly shaded, has some areas for bicycles (although people are on them throughout the entire path), and the scenery is always majestic and surprising.
