I
had
emailed
other
dive
centres
before
I
contacted
League's
Ahead
by
whatsapp.
Almost
instant
response
and
from
there
Sophie
handled
the
booking,
answering
all
of
my
questions.
Nothing
was
a
problem.
In
the
space
of
less
than
an
hour
(I
was
working,
or
it
would
have
been
quicker)
we
had
arranged
dates,
pick
up
times,
health
forms,
and
shared
insurance/licence
details
as
well
as
a
short
history
of
diving.
I
hadn't
dived
since
2018
so
opted
for
a
refresher
dive
before
3
main
dives.
And
was
pleasantly
surprised
by
the
cost
(incl
equipment)
And
then
I
did
nothing
until
the
day
of
the
dive.
I
was
picked
up
as
agreed
and
taken
to
the
dive
centre.
All
of
my
equipment
was
looked
out
and
waiting
for
me
to
try
by
size.
Normally
I
do
this
when
I
arrive
and
it
takes
time.
I
am
also
usually
quite
nervous
meeting
people.....not
this
time.
From
there
the
van
was
loaded
(each
person
has
a
blue
IKEA
bag
with
their
name
on
it)
and
we
were
taken
to
the
dive
site
where
we
split
into
groups.
Some
were
snorkeling,
I
was
on
refresher
for
dive
1
and
others
on
a
regular
dive.
Dive
briefing
was
clear
and
informative
and
I
was
talked
through
the
skills
I
need
to
do.
The
dives
themselves
were
excellent.
A
lot
to
keep
the
eyes
distracted.
I
had
an
issue
with
the
prescription
mask
I
had
brought
with
me.
Not
an
issue
for
League's
Ahead.
A
spare
was
taken
and
I
changed
over.
After
the
dives
we
changed
and
all
of
the
equipment
was
loaded
into
the
van.
And
we
got
dropped
back
at
our
hotels.....this
is
the
first
dive
centre
I
haven't
cleaned
my
own
equipment.
I
was
impressed!
2nd
day
of
diving
was
the
same.
The
welcome
and
genuine
feeling
of
being
cared
for
got
me
through
a
tired
start.
Sophie
and
James
were
on
hand
to
look
after
us.
2nd
dive
site
was
incredible.
Plenty
of
life
and
interesting
rocks
to
swim
round
and
through.
Caves
aren't
my
thing
but
they
are
there
for
those
who
want
to
explore.
Some
highlights
***Booking...so
simple.
You
know
that
vibe
you
get
when
something
is
good?
I
had
that
in
message
one!

I
didn't
send
more
messages
after
I
booked,
but
one
of
the
other
divers
booked
on
the
day
before,
which
is
usually
a
day
off,
rapid
response.
***Friendliness.....off
the
scale!
Everyone
associated
with
League's
Ahead
was
warm,
welcoming
and
interested
in
you.
***Safety.....this
is
a
top
priority.
Forms
are
ready,
checks
are
done.
I
had
some
issues
with
nerves
on
the
refresher....not
a
problem.
Surface
and
time
to
relax.
****Staff.....I
don't
recall
all
of
the
names.
James
and
Sophie
are
the
owners.
They
are
both
incredible
people.
Shout
out
to
Ethan
who
supported
me
in
the
refresher
as
part
of
his
Dive
Master
course.
All
of
the
staff
are
amazing.
They
will
ensure
you
are
well
looked
after
and
safe.
And
James
took
loads
of
photos
and
video
clips,
which
I
had
the
same
day
via
WhatsApp.
My
family
were
so
excited
when
I
sent
them
back
home!
Thank

I
could
go
on
and
on,
but
I
think
you
get
the
picture.
The
marine
life
is
there
in
abundance,
I
had
an
idea
of
what
to
expect.
Leagues
Ahead
have
absolutely
nailed
the
customer
experience.
Their
knowledge
of
the
area
is
incredible.
I
wasn't
sure
I
would
go
back
to
Gran
Canaria
for
a
holiday,
but
this
experience
makes
me
think
differently.
It
was
definitely
a
highlight
of
my
holiday.
And
lastly....thank
you
to
my
fellow
divers.
The
friendliness
you
all
showed
made
this
an
unforgettable
experience.
