I came to this restaurant in the days when it was Tango Tapas. New owner and new menu and it was absolutely delicious. There was a nice friendly welcome and chilled out vibes. I will definitely be back next year 😁

We had dinner here last night and it was a really nice experience. We had 4 tapas dishes (serrano ham, peppers padron, albondigas bravas, shakshuka) and bread with aioli. All the dishes were wonderful and freshly prepared for us. The prices are in the low end and the quality high. We had dessert (lava cake) and coffee to end the perfect meal. The service was friendly and helpful. The surroundings are nice with the Western decor. I recommend this place 😃

I and my partner did some good research in advance to avoid the many generic tourist traps in the area, and oh my oh my! El Saloon delivered in all regards. The service is welcoming, tidy, and professional all at the same time - and the waiter knows both the food served and the drinks offered. The food is a collection of brilliantly simple tapas dishes, many of which are vegan and vegetarian, and all of them gave us new and inspiring culinary experiences. I can't much imagine a better "casual" tapas restaurant, and just can't recommend it enough! For the moderate prices you get all you pay for and so much more. This place deserves many more guests!

Beautiful food and well priced. Lots of options for vegans too as well as catering to vegetarian & meat eaters. Friendly service & lovely cocktails too. Definitely recommend!

It's rare to find a vegetarian restaurant in Maspalomas, but here is one that positively surprised us. Although the menu is focused on vegetarian tapas, they also have some fish and meat options.

This place was so good we had to keep going back. The most vegan options we’ve seen on a menu in Gran Canaria & the quality of food was magnificent. The style of service works great with the tapas, all coming at once so you can enjoy and share the dishes combining the flavours. The customer service was 10/10, very attentive and a genuine sense of care. Couldn’t recommend this place more! Food was so good, I forgot to take pics, but the drinks were just as delicious.

Just got taken here for my birthday by my fiance. We ordered starters and a bottle of wine which came fairly quickly. Then unfortunately waited 55 minutes for the waiter to then come and take our mains order and that was after I had to approach the bar and tell him we had been waiting that long. After a further 40 minutes we finally received our food without even a 'sorry for the wait'. Then when we told him how bad our experience had been after he proceded to make excuses and blame us for not getting his attention when we had been trying for ages. He was working by himself and I told him we appriciated that but he did not pay attention to the customers and didn't even see if we needed any more drinks, so we ended up nursing a bottle of wine for two and a half hours. The food was good but the service was absolutely atrocious.

Wow was a great choice for veggies and vegans! Almost all of the menu could be made vegan and the host was so very helpful. Would return in a heartbeat! (very well priced too)

Good tapas at reasonable prices in the center of Playa del Ingles. Good portion sizes and a good selection of vegan dishes and beers. I can recommend Canarian Jaira beer. I just wonder why there were so few customers, more advertising? I recommend the restaurant.

Great food and great scenery with great service. The tapas feast started with a tasty tomato and onion salad with garlic and fresh ground black peppar that was great. Some really crispy onion rings with a nice dipping sauce. An interesting curry Sausage thing with onion and peppers in a sort of Asian Fusion sauce kind of thing that was really nice. Some nice papas Bravas. The highlight of it all was the great "Beef Saloon" with soy based fake beef and beans in a smokey and rich sauce. The bread was also fantastic, slightly toasted and very crispy outside but with a moist and flavourful bready middle. And a nice aoli to go with them. For dessert we had a Creme Catalan flavoured with some spirit. It was creamy and really nice with a strong punch of alcohol that contrasted nicely. But beware if you don't appreciate that, it is really boozy. There were vegan and alcohol free options available as well.

Highly recommend! Lovely restaurant, delicious tapas and excellent service, Good few tables seated for dinner but not too busy or noisy when we visited, definitely worth a trip if you're in the area 😊

Very good restaurant/ tapas bar! The waiter/ service is very nice and friendly. The food is super delicious. Realistic and fair prices for tapas. (2-9)€ per item. We paid 50 € for 2 persons and tried 75% of the whole menu. (restaurants with less choice of meals tend to have better tasting food) I would give 6 stars for vegetarian "alternatives"! To sum up this restaurant is a gem and special place and would totally recommend.

Loved this place! The tapas were all delicious, and there are tons of vegan options as well as meat. Prices are affordable and the man who served us was so nice. Would definitely return.

Very lovely restaurant, the owners are very kind and there are a lot of veggie options. The albóndigas vegetales for example are very yummy. It’s open since december 2021, so definitely go give it a shot!

Definitely worth visiting when you are in Maspalomas. Cosy restaurant, lovely staff and the food was excellent. Best vegetable balls (albondigas) ever! Almost everything on the menu is vegetarian /vegan, but they also serve some fish/meat tapas. We appreciated this very much because it's not easy finding so many vegetarian /vegan options in Maspalomas.
