We happened upon this bar one night and let me me tell you, it was one of the best dumb luck shines of my life!! Not only is the ambiance of this restaurant so chill n comfortable n chic, but it has the vibe n decor to match the highest class of spots to be at! But it gets better... yes the staff and the manager are ALL super cool and the service is great! Wait...it gets better... The food here is OMG delicious! Whoever they got for a chef is on point! I’m talking great presentation on top of absolutely delicious food!! The shrimp is clean and fresh and I don’t care how you get it, it’s off the hook! Love the Cabo Wabo sauce!! It gets better...the prices are so unbelievably reasonable, maybe a little low, for the quality of food and tastiness and environment in this place. This place rivals the Wolfgang Puck restaurant we went to in Vegas. The appetizers are above par and of perfect proportions. I literally have no complaints. We travel for work and have eaten in all kinds of classy joints across the country and this is definitely one of my favorites of all times. We are from Arkansas so this isn’t just, I know these people reviews. I literally wanted to RAVE about how sweet a spot this is!!! Love the ambiance, love the food, love the people, love the prices, and love the $2 margaritas during happy hour. This is the BEST spot y’all got here in the RGV as far as this wero is concerned!!

Dropped by for drinks and appetizers. The ambiance is upscale casual. We were dressed comfortably in jeans and there was a group of bikers there as well. Everyone seemed to be having a good time hanging out with friends. The hostess greeted us warmly upon arrival and was kind enough to offer suggestions on the appetizers. The calamari was perfectly crisp and delicious, served with 2 dipping sauces. The shrimp floritas are like fried flour tortilla roll-ups for adults and they were crispy, creamy and full of flavor. The cabbage and dressing served with it was so good I spooned it up! We also had the fish tacos and they were tasty and refreshing; the corn tortillas were soft but not greasy. We had beers with our dinner so we'll try the cocktails next time. Overall, great service, delicious food, and a casual atmosphere. We will return again soon!

Cabo brings an atmosphere San Benito has not had. The bar area has two TVs for sports viewing but it doesn’t overthrow the regal atmosphere of the restaurant. The food is immaculate with great presentation, a hearty portion, and delicious flavors. You have to try the cheesecake for dessert. The prices are fair; it’s worth the price and then some. We will be going again.

Didn't expect there to be such a lovely restaurant inside. The atmosphere was perfect along with the service. The food was smaller portions but amazing.

I've had this place on our Harlingen bucket list for a year now, and I'm glad we got to try it. We drove from Weslaco to try this place, and we were blown away. The atmosphere is very nice with beautiful lighting, comfortable seating, and textured walls with a beautiful water accent. The service was on point and attentive to our family size (5). Our server was Ricky, and he seemed to have a 6th sense for anticipating our needs. We ordered the following: kids burger, tacos de la calle, enchiladas poblanas, shrimp variety plate. Everything we had was good. The details were on point, and it seemed that every dish got the attention it deserved balanced seasoning and precise cooking techniques, and the manager walked around to gauge the room. We had the strawberry and turtle dove cheesecakes, and they were a generous portion and left everyone satisfied. This place is a hidden gem, and I would be happy to drive out and have dinner again.

I would have given a 5 star rating, but they don't offer unsweet or sweet tea. Just raspberry tea. Also, no complementary chips and salsa. I had the Relleno de Camerone and it was delicious. If you drink alcohol, they have daily specials.

We had a large party and were able to be seated outside, which was nice. Food took about an hour to come out, some of which had been sitting under a heat lamp and not fresh. Quality of food was also lacking. Drinks were good. Overall don’t think I would return anytime soon
