Great place to come enjoy some fresh air this Spring and Summer. Pretty nice the whole year round. Lots of birds to watch 'n feed. Regarding feeding the BIRDS: NO bread or uncooked rice ~ ONLY seed and appropriate water foul grains, please. BBQ up a great meal with the family PLUS enjoy a nice breeze off the lake when the weather gets much warmer soon.

Gorgeous surroundings. Perfect for excersise, walking dogs, taking children to play, sightseeing, nature gazing, bird and squirrel watching and just enjoying nature. Pre covid, there used to be paddle boating, and a swim area but all halted for now. Summer time is a bit packed, usually, and there is usually a small fee for entering the park. Definitely wear very comfy shoes, bring water, food etc. Lots of walking to be done here. Great place for gathering since there is so much open space.

This is a beautiful Park and lake when Loya of green grass picnic areas and a ton of hiking trails for all levels. We took a 4 mile hike there on 11/5/22 and it was both challenging and relaxing . Part of the paths are paved and others dirt.

Honestly...... Clean, peaceful, quiet, plenty of parking, beautiful views. Very safe for families. I think this is the only lake that I would never see any trash or anybody drinking loud or disrespectful or anything like that. Oh, and there are so many different playgrounds for kids. They keep the restrooms clean in working condition Lots of people walk their dogs over there too very friendly They have a beach for people to swim.

This is my first time visiting this park. I’ve driven by it many years. The swimming beach closes at 6 PM. Overall the park is well maintained with wheelchair accessible areas. Ducks and geese walk freely among guests, picnic areas and dot the shoreline. Restrooms were reasonably clean.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ I meet friends there for mountain biking. We usually ride about 10 miles on dirt roads & single track. Its a beautiful park. Besides hiking & biking there's boating, kayaking, fishing, a beautiful RV park & in summer a swim beach and huge picnic areas.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ I love this park! Is not on a busy streert and it has everything you need and more. People usually pick up after themselves and after their pets and that helps to keep the park clean. We live 1 Block away and we go there almost every day. No homeless hanging around and bathroom are always clean. Tha...
