As
many
others
have
said,
Circle
Medical
uses
deceptive
marketing
and
practices
to
gauge
prices
and
try
to
hold
patients
hostage
to
additional
care.
My
initial
experience
with
Circle
Medical
was
fine.
However,
I
was
soon
told
I
needed
to
see
my
doctor
in
person
as
she
would
no
longer
be
able
to
prescribe
my
medication
online
if
she
hadn't
seen
me
in
person.
This
was
a
major
inconvenience
as
the
closest
location
to
me
was
San
Francisco,
a
three
hour
drive.
I
took
off
work
and
got
a
hotel
room.
The
appointment
was
less
than
5
minutes.
A
virtual
appointment
or
two
later,
I
am
told
by
my
doctor,
Dr.
Horta,
that
she
cannot
see
me
anymore
because
I
am
registered
as
having
Medi-Cal.
I
did
not
know
how
this
happened,
as
I
did
lose
a
job,
but
was
paying
for
insurance
out
of
pocket.
I
also
did
not
understand
why
it
mattered.
Months
pass
and
I
find
another
doctor.
This
doctor
has
been
prescribing
me
the
same
medication
online
without
seeing
me
in
person,
no
problem.
So,
I
feel
like
getting
me
to
the
in-person
appointment
was
a
farce
and
only
done
to
charge
me
more.
3-4
months
later
after
my
Medi-Care
was
off
my
record,
I
made
an
appointment
with
Dr.
Horta
at
Circle
Medical
again.
She
informed
me
she
couldn't
see
me
because
I
had
to
send
proof
that
I
was
not
on
Medi-Cal.
This
was
my
fault
as
she
had
mentioned
it
before,
I
had
forgotten.
I
sent
the
paperwork
and
made
another
appointment.
I
then
get
a
message
from
Dr.
Horta
thanking
me
for
the
paperwork,
but
now
she
needs
me
to
get
a
wellness
exam
before
she
can
see
me.
Excuse
me,
what??
This
has
never
been
brought
up
to
me
before.
Why
wasn't
this
brought
up
before
my
IN
PERSON
APPOINTMENT??
I
am
informed
I
can
get
a
wellness
exam
through
Circle
Medical
in
order
to
expedite
the
process.
Lmao.
What
a
racket.
Again,
I
could
have
gotten
this
done
when
I
was
there
in
person.
Or
informed
at
any
point.
I
have
never
shared
any
of
my
personal
records
with
Circle
Medical,
so
I
don't
know
why
they
suddenly
need
a
physical
after
treating
me
for
6
months.
I
have
my
own
primary
care
doctor
and
will
be
seeing
her
in
January,
as
I
scheduled.
Not
at
this
joke
of
a
place.
After
I
cancel
this
second
appointment,
I
get
a
$50
missed
appointment
fee.
When
I
informed
them
I
only
cancelled
because
my
doctor
told
me
she
couldn't
see
me
for
some
BS
reason,
they
reversed
the
charge.
But
then,
out
of
nowhere
and
“coincidentally”
that
same
day,
I
receive
an
old
$100
charge
for
the
in
person
appointment.
From
6
months
ago!!
What??
To
say
I
am
furious
is
an
understatement.
I’ve
wasted
so
much
time
and
money
trying
to
accommodate
this
company,
only
to
be
run
in
circles
and
slapped
with
more
bills.
Sorry
for
the
LONG
review.
But
this
is
my
cautionary
tale.
All
was
good
in
the
beginning,
until
it
wasn't.
And
there
are
a
lot
of
other
places
you
can
turn
to
for
ADHD.
