I've been training with Ricardo for one year and it's been a life changing experience! Ricardo tailors his personal training sessions to meet your needs and help you reach your goals. He has helped me improve my posture, reduce neck/back pain from long days of virtual zoom calls, and build/tone muscles. The new studio is well-maintained and a great place to workout. I would highly recommend Ricardo and Infinity Training Center to anyone looking to get in shape and live a healthier lifestyle!

The first coach I contacted when I was ready to get back to training was Ricardo and immediately knew he would be the one to get me to my goals, a bikini competitor. In our first meeting I was content with his knowledge and kindness, not to mention a very clean gym. I was more impressed as I learned about his background . I leave our sessions feeling positive and encouraged. I like how his gym is appointment based so no one is ever in your way when working out and vice versa.

Our whole family loves Ricardo. I get up 8am on Saturday morning to start my day with him too. Does that tell you enough? :) Truly Ricardo gets us each of us to our individually goals. We work big muscles and we work small muscles. We learn to stretch and maintain flexibility and mobility as we get stronger. Ricardo is so knowledgeable- he's attentive to our goals, creative in the workouts, and supportive in a way that's motivating and caring. Give him a visit to chat about your goals - you'll be pleased!

Ricardo is the best trainer!! He is super knowledgeable and patient. He helped me recover from a knee injury and I can now run and train without pain. He has experience in PT and bodywork and always goes the extra mile. would 100% recommend!

Ricardo at Infinity Training has truly helped me keep healthy, get stronger, be more motivated. He excels at tailoring a training plan that works around my previous injuries, meets me where I’m at, and encourages me to do better. I can’t say enough great things about this little neighborhood gym, it’s truly a gem.

Before I met Ricardo, I had an aversion to going to the gym. My husband had been training with him for years and finally convinced me to give him a try. Ricardo’s encouraging, and gifted at what he does. I look forward to our sessions and am loving the results.

Ricardo is one of the best trainers I’ve come across in the Bay Area! He has experience as both a nurse and a massage therapist so is very knowledgeable about the body. When you train with him, he listens and helps you to reach your goals while teaching you along the way. I’ve learned so much about exercise, how to care for my body, and how my body works. Whenever there feels like there’s any tightness or tension in different areas of my body, he always knows just the right massage technique or stretch or mobility exercise to show me so that it doesn’t happen again or so that we can continue our session like normal. He’s like a magician! Every time I’m back in the Bay Area, I do my best to do even just a drop-in session with him- it’s worth it!

I recommend Ricardo to anyone looking for a trainer or a coach. I initially reached out to him because I was thinking about preparing for a competition, and he has experience training competitors. Since then, my goals have changed. As I work through postural, hormonal, and repetitive stress injuries, Ricardo has helped me build strength, reduce pain, and improve mobility. His background in nursing, sports, fitness competition, and bodywork make him effective at striking the right balance of training for function and aesthetics.

I've been training with Ricardo for over a year. I started with Ricardo at a larger fitness center before COVID and during COVID he trained me in my back yard. He recently opened his own fitness center in a good location with great equipment! Ricardo is a good motivator (both in terms of fitness, exercising and what to eat!) Slowly but surely I've lost about 15 pounds, decreased my body fat percentage , gained muscle, toned and decreased inches in all the key spots! I just went on a shopping spree and bought all new clothes! I'd highly recommend Ricardo!

I have been training with Ricardo since roughly 2015. The sheer amount of knowledge Ricardo has on fitness, body mechanics, and nutrition is overwhelming. He is excellent at observing you in motion during your sets and diagnosing points of tightness, weakness, and asymmetry that can lead to injury and suboptimal performance. He can size you up just by how you are standing and sitting. He also works with clients of all different types. While I am just a scrawny software engineer, I have seen him training people doing body building competitions and all other manner of sport. Ricardo is excellent at providing a space where showing up to work out in whatever capacity you can manage that day is appreciated. I often practice a lot of negative self talk, but he catches me in the act and keeps me appreciative of the moment. He always reminds you to be taking care of yourself, making time for yourself, etc… His new space is excellent for 1:1 time, you don’t have to jostle or swap out after sets for equipment. I took a break during pandemic, and since starting back up with him I don’t really know how I made it through the pandemic in retrospect. I hope you have the opportunity to train with him as well.

I have been training with Ricardo since 2019 and I will continue training with him. He understands the human body very well and customizes your workouts to your specific body and goals. He is very understanding and empathetic as you go through your fitness journey. I have had many trainers in the past and he is by far the best. If you want to just be healthy or want to compete he is your guy. He is definitely a hidden gem!

I started training with Ricardo since the beginning of 2020. It was absolutely an amazing ride. Ricardo is the most experienced trainer I have ever had, and I stopped switching trainers after working with Ricardo. Through the journey of training with Ricardo, I was able to achieve my personal training goal for the first time in my life. Rocardo would break down my goal into small actions that are easy to follow along, and closely track my progress on a weekly basis. He also explained the theories behind each of those actions which I particular appreciate. After training with him for 2 years, I understand now how my body works, and have a lot better control in my body. I have confidence that I can change my body if I want to, which is a great feeling.

I have been training with Ricardo for the past 5-6 years and have focused primarily on shoulder, hip rehab and overall strength. As a former soccer athlete and competitive body builder he focuses on functional movement. He customizes programs for each of his clients providing videos and weekly plans that are easy to follow even for the person starting out on their fitness journey. Ricardo’s new studio, Infinity has been awesome - both centrally located in SF and has tons of equipment for 1:1 sessions! Huge fan!

There are so many things I love about working with Ricardo…without further ado, here are 5 reasons you should work with Ricardo. 1. Teaches you to understand your body. When is your body ready for a challenge or when does it need more rest? 2. An incredibly knowledgeable teacher. I’ve been learning new things about my body: where it’s tight, where I’m stronger (learned my entire right side is dominant), where I’ve been overusing, and how to retrain some movements. 3. Attentive to form. His live feedback during the workout has been critically important as I’ve been able to lift heavier! 4. Emphasizes stretching. His focus on stretching has incredibly helped my mobility, flexibility, and performance. 5. Tailors my workouts to me. My workouts help me obtain my weight lifting goals and he’s been very encouraging during workouts to get me there. I dislike repetitive movements with light weights, and in our initial session, he caught onto this. I find his approach has been to slowly incorporate these workout things I don’t like into my training and stress their importance in my long term goals (feels kinda like someone chopping up those veggies so fine and sneaking them into your meals, haha) I haven’t had a trainer since I moved back to the Bay and after a long search, I put my money on him and highly recommend you do too.

I've been going to Infinity and working with Ricardo for about 6 months. In the past, I dreaded working out. But now I look forward to my sessions with Ricardo. He knows when to push me. I always feel so happy and optimistic after a session with him. Also, we talk a lot about diet which is very helpful. I look and feel different now!

Ricardo is awesome! My sister and I have been training with him together and he is able to give us individualized workouts. She likes to take it a bit easier than I, but we both get a full workout. He’s great at motivating us while allowing us to listen to our bodies and take breaks if needed. He is very knowledgeable and shares information that will help us obtain our goals. I love the facility. It has 3 rooms and has a bunch of machines. He limits the number of ppl in the gym at any given time so it’s like having a private gym to ourselves. Parking is super easy they too which is a major bonus!

I started training with Ricardo about a year ago at the recommendation of a friend who has been with him for years and years. After a few months, Ricardo started doing buddy sessions for myself and my now husband as we prepped for our wedding. Ricardo is patient, positive and knowledgeable, always adapting to our needs as we progressed. His gym is tidy and well maintained, and there's never more than one other trainer/client in the building at the same time. There's no competing for space, distractions or feeling overwhelmed. With Ricardo's help, I've gained confidence in exercises that I have been scared to do previously, or felt intimidated by. Outside of the gym, I also feel more in tune with my body and what it can do. I.e. being able to lift yourself out of something, or carrying heavy things....these may not seem like a big deal but it feels good to know that your body can take care of you, everyday!
