SKP Muay Thai delivers high level training with some of the best trainers in north Thailand, and it still manages to retain a strong social atmosphere between the guests. It's located in the small but endeering town of Sankamphaeng which is maybe 20 km east of Chiang Mai. Being out of the city is great as you can focus on training without the distractions. Perfect for fighters as the trainers have a wealth of experience (trainers golf & keng over 900 fights between them). Also great for those new to muay thai as its a great atmosphere within the camp. SKP Muay Thai puts fighters forward to the local stadiums and beyond, and seems to have good win/fight ratio. They have more focus on clinch training here than some of the other camps ive been to, which is a good thing, as without doubt the clinch seems to be the westerners weak spot. Well recommended!

I've train at several gyms in Thailand now! and traveled here 3 times to train with my longest stint being 6 months! SKP is a wonderful gym! the trainers are all super friendly! and i left with great friends for life! the owner Pearse is a top guy! he really cares for all his students, all the trainers and all the kids at the gym! a real family atmosphere there! The trainers are incredibly knowledgeable! happy to help and teach! and unlike other gyms in the area you don't just get your pad work and told to kick a bag. They will take time to show you technique! They also sort out accommodation, mopeds and fights for you if you wish and give all students their undivided attention not just the sponsored fighters (which again i've seen at other gyms in the area) Reccomend SKP for anyone whether an experienced fighter or a complete beginner! can't wait to come back! and the village is one of the nicest, friendliest places i've been in Thailand! Very cheap, lots of great places to eat amazing food etc!

Trainings were really good and intense. I had very good teachers like Ten or Mr O. They were really kind and comprehensive. They taught me Muay Thai basis and technics, with tips to make better gesture and movings. There was also a muscle part with cardio training, I definitely recommend this amazing gym. Piarais which manages the gym was very very kind, he gave me several tips for day life at San Kamphaeng.

If you wanna train in Chiangmai, SKP is the place to check out. Great training, with really good trainers and a nice, clean, well-equipped premise. Go!
