I recently visited this salon for both a haircut and hair color. The salon's luxurious ambiance immediately impressed me. I showed the hair color specialist a photo of the desired color, the specialist lady regretfully informed me that she can't do this specific color but presented various shades of ginger as alternatives. We settled on one, and the entire process was executed with professionalism and grace. During my visit, I was pampered with a hand massage and tea, which added to the overall pleasant experience. The hair washing was delightful, and the hairstylist guy was friendly and highly skilled. However, upon drying, I was shocked to see that my hair was not ginger as we had agreed but entirely red. It was a heartbreaking moment, I had to try not to cry as the outcome was completely different than what we agreed on. It was really hard to even look at myself in the mirror 😞😞 In an attempt to fix the hair color, the specialist lady scrubbed my hair to remove the red hue and then applied an orange color for an additional 10 minutes. Unfortunately, despite these efforts, the color didn't change, and the lady said she is sorry. The orange color she applied came off when I showered at home and even stained my towel. This was an unexpected and frustrating outcome... 😢 especially considering that I had paid 4000 baht for the hair color treatment. On the positive side, the haircut, priced at around 500 baht, was impeccably done by a kind and professional hairstylist (a very nice guy with black hair). If you're solely looking for a haircut, I would recommend this place. However, for hair coloring, I would advise caution based on my experience.

NY NY Aveda Salon I had the greatest experience at this salon. I am on four months of travel in Asia and my hair has become very dry and damaged by the water and not using the appropriate products. I walked in asking if they had time for me, and the amount of thought that went into my unofficial consult was so extensive that I found trust in them being that they said it would take 5 hours as to be careful not to damage my fair further wanting to go lighter in color and suggested a deep treatment too. I always had 2-3 people working on my hair at once so much attention was given, I had to get color and treatments washed maybe 5x which came with wonderful scalp and neck massage. I even had two different arm massages while I waited for different processes of treating my hair. Considering I spent the entire day there, I mentioned wishing they had wine and they even grabbed me a bottle from the restaurant next door to help keep me entertained. Last but not least, I purchased the suggested protective hair treatments and they also gave me some free samples. I am super appreciative of how well they took care of me and my super dry hair! It feels and looks great! I would call it a wonderful hair rescue experience!

The come with a paper and the price to see if you agree, so there are no surprises in the end. Massages for head, shoulders, back, hands... All part of the hair cut and treatment. Sunny was sweet and gentle and took good care of me. This is the third time I cut my hair in Chiang Mai. The price is the double of other places in the city. But I'm definitely coming back here 💜

Went here after doing a lot of googling as my hair needed some TLC with the constant exposure to water and sun! I wanted to go brighter and blonder and was very nervous as I wasn’t sure if hairdressers in Chang Mai were use to working with “Western hair” but the girls were fab! Knew exactly what I wanted. The next day I wasn’t happy with the front part of hair it had gone a little orange and I messaged the girls and they told me to come back so they could fix it for me! They were very professional and made me feel so comfortable! A little pricey for Chang Mai but worth it. Would definitely recommend! Love my new blonde hair 😍

A relaxing salon experience with Aveda quality products and services! There are a few parking spots in front of the salon. I went for a haircut, received a consultation, then a neck and shoulder massage, a head massage with the shampooing, and the signature Aveda herbal tea - all for a reasonable price, 750 baht. Excellent experience and my hair felt silly smooth!

So I went the shop, with no appointment. They were really kind and helped me right away. I told the hairdressers that I wanted to get rid of the dry ends en the dry parts on top of my head but wanted to keep my length. He showed me how much he would have to cut and recommended long layers. They also recommended a BK Treatment and a haircut. I trusted them completely, though didn’t know what that treatment was. I also told them I had to leave around 15:30 to go to the airport, which was no problem. First of all; I got a amazing massage in the nek. Then they washed my head, massaged it and they put differents products in my hair and while the products where moistering my hair, I got an amazing hand massage. All by the hairdresser called May. After that, he cut my hair. Also my fringe, without increasig the price. My hair turned out great and amazingly soft. I went to a lot of hairdressers (from Amsterdam, Australia to New York) but this one was by far the best experience and haircut I have ever had. Thank you May and NY NY Nimman Hair Studio :)

I hate going to the hairdressers, always have but my hair really needed cutting whilst I was in Chiang Mai. I have to say I probably had the most flattering hair cut I've had in years all credit to Anna :-) She totally understood what I wanted and she did an amazing job. The salon is lovely and all members of staff are just great. Special mention also to the guy who gave me a little massage and washed my hair 👍 Really enjoyable experience and I will definitely be back. Thank you x
