(Translated by Google) ⛰️ If asked about the story of another serpent, it is inevitable. This place is for sure. Wat Tham Muang On before reaching the way up to Muang On cave The temple will be on the left. There is a parking lot inside the temple. will see a large white Buddha image On the right hand side, in a wide courtyard, inside the temple is a mountainous area, so it's a steep slope, but it's decorated beautifully. outstanding on the inside There will be a pond in front Grandfather Anantanakara This story of Grandfather Nakarat is quite long. To put it briefly, there is a young man with a degree in engineering. But not about the sculpture in any way. Instead, he had a heart to make an image of Phaya Anantanakharat. therefore came to ask for a statue of this place So it became a legend. But actually the story is much longer. This temple is very peaceful and shady. Let's come and see before going up to the cave.

(Translated by Google) It is a temple that is very peaceful and natural. uncrowded Make merit and then walk to see places with interesting things, whether it is a sacred pavilion. Naga statues, ponds, pagodas, ordination halls, etc., especially the history of the Naga in a glass cabinet is interesting. So beautiful and amazing (Original)

This temple is located at the foot of the mountain on the way up to Tham Mueang On. This temple has many legends regarding the sacredness of the Naga king. The atmosphere is quiet. There is a beautiful temple. and there are Buddha statues lined up on the left side of the temple. Whoever comes to visit the cave, don't miss stopping by to pay homage. Please ask for blessings from Grandfather Nakarat at this temple first.

The temple is located in front before the entrance to Tham Mueang On. Walking inside, there will be a place to pay respects and ask for blessings from Grandfather Anantanakarat. And there is a large pond. Inside the pond there is a rock shaped like a snake's head at the bottom. Anyone who has ever been to Naga Cave will be able to imagine this. (It will be clearly seen when the water in the pond rises. But if you come at a bad time, you won't be able to see the bottom.) I recommend that you come here once to make merit and pray for sacred things.

I really enjoyed these caves. To park the car was free, could also feed all the monkeys on the way up the mountain, which was fun. Entrance fee 20 baht per person (absolute bargain). Optional fee for torch rental (not necessary, the caves are well lit, but maybe pay it because I think it's how the old guy up there makes his living). The steps down at the entrance to the cave is the most daunting part, it's a bit narrow, but ok. Once you're past this it all opens out and there's a lot to explore.

(Translated by Google) Great facility! The temple was built directly into a cave - admission is 20 baht per person and another 10 baht for the parking lot. If you have trouble walking or are very strong, it is better not to go into the cave. The stairs are really very steep and quite narrow! Those afraid of heights or claustrophobia should probably wait outside as well. Everyone else can expect a great cave. As usual in temples, you can see small figures etc. in every corner. The descent is really worth it! If you still have time and stamina afterwards, you can take the 10-minute walk to the summit - the view is great. Arrival by scooter from Chiang Mai approx. 1 hour (Original) Tolle Anlage!

Mueang On Cave in the past used to be a place to practice Vipassana meditation. of Kruba Sriwichai which are the noble monks of Lanna Thai that Lanna people and the general public pay widespread respect and faith. In the year 1930, Phra Khruba Sriwichai, a saint of Lanna Thai Went on a pilgrimage and found this Doi Sila cave. Therefore, he persuaded villagers with good intentions to build a road and stairs leading up to the mouth of the cave and built a Buddha image that could be completed within one day and enshrined it on Doi Tham Sila for general Buddhists to worship and changed the name from Tham. Doi Sila has been Mueang On Cave since then until today. Currently, there are still traces and the seat of Kruba Chao Sriwichai visible. Inside the cave is considered a place of peace, quiet and tranquility thanks to the power of Kruba Chao Srivichai. At the mouth of the cave there is a statue of Kruba Srivichai. and the stupa containing his relics There are Buddha images enshrined side by side. So that people who go on the trip can pay homage to bring prosperity to themselves and their families. Private cars can be parked at the parking lot. and continue walking up the mountain to enter the cave In the morning the weather was very nice and cool. Inside the beautiful cave There are beautiful stalagmites and stalactites.
