Really fantastic and vast botanical garden not too far from the city center. So many beautiful displays and little walking paths to explore. Went on a Wednesday afternoon and there was hardly anyone there which is great for those who enjoy solitude. Renting a bike is a must if you want to see all of the grounds in a reasonable amount of time. I though this was way better than Queen Sirikit gardens. Will absolutely come back on my next trip to Chiang Mai.

Just beautiful place to spend lovely day surrounded by natural beauty of tropical paradise. It’s big and you can walk or pay for the rent of bike of tour car. The part of the botanical garden is also a small zoo with different kinds of birds but also deers, bulls, ponies and camel.

Lovely variety of plants to walk or cycle around. We went in the morning and stayed all day. There is a nice swimming pool that you pay to use. When we were there we had the pool to ourselves for the whole afternoon. Definitely worth a visit and nice to get out of Chaing Mai for the day. Only 30 minutes on the scooter from the city.

I visited the park twice! The entrance is around 85THB and you can spent the hole day there. There are multiple toilets and you can find some playgrounds for children. It looks stunning and is nice to walk around. Also there are buses who drive you around if you want and you can rent a bicycle.

We loved the place. Drive is a bit mental to get there, but worth it. Take your time and walk around the place. Bikes are an option to hire too, but maybe after you've already checked the place out on foot. You'd miss loads otherwise

Came for the garden, stayed for the pool. Peaceful, clean, green and tranquil environment to relax in. You can also rent a bike and go cycling round the vast estate. Well worth the drive out of town for.

Do NOT pay towards this animal cruelty. We came thinking it was just beautiful gardens when we saw they had a "zoo" on site, which was just cages of different animals held captive. The Ostrich was loosing its feathers, the deer were in a TINY space, the little horse had awful skin condition, the camel has a wound looks deep. All animals seem very depressed. The space is so big and rest of the plants looked after yet they cannot care for the animals they have captured. Awful. Came away very upset.

The gardens are well worth visiting. Go during the week as it seems to be very quiet. Take your swimwear as you can pay to use the pool which is very clean and spotless.

What would otherwise have been a pleasurable day in the gardens, was sullied after seeing exotic birds kept in such miserably small cages. One of these looked like the critically endangered Citron-crested Cockatoo. Why not just make it a garden without animals in captivity?

Here is the best for family to stay . Because of the space is very huge to explore with everyone to enjoy it. It's a very good location if you come from main road . During the hotel area is very beautiful and peaceful . The staff is very good service and warm welcome to visitors . Each room is like a northern style . Room size is quite big for family . Anything in here is super cool.

You can visit the park in just 15 minutes using the free bus without leaving it, the driver will inform you of the different areas crossed. You could leave it on the way and resume your route later. frequency of free buses every 45 minutes.

Highly recommend. We hired bikes which was really helpful as there is a lot to see and walking in the heat would’ve been too much. The only part I didn’t like was the little zoo section as it didn’t as the animals are living in the best conditions.

Such a paradise just outside Chiang Mai. We spent a wonderful day here, a lot of different trees and plants, everything is so well taken care of ❤️. We also enjoyed the swimming pool in the middle of the day, when it was the hottest. You can rent a bike or a golf car och take a bus in the park - but we just enjoyed the park on foot, so much to see and admire! Recommended for everyone who wants to relax from a city buzz. When it comes to the animals, they are in a good condition to my mind, not worse and not better than in any other zoo.. However, they shouldn't be kept in cages of course. But this is rather a question to the world, not this specific zoo. Deers are kind, rabbits are fluffy, buffalos were clapped by the man who took hand of their cages. Parrots and other birds can be released into a wild ❤️.

The resort is very large, there are peacocks, parrots, gooses, ducks, chickens, rabbits, deer, ostriches, etc., suitable for children to run, ride, swim, etc.

I stayed with the family at the hotel/convention center on the property. This was an amazing 1 stop perfect family trip. The gardens are beautifully well kept and constantly evolving. The bike trails are well marked, the animals generally well cared for and healthy, and there are numerous play areas to stop, stretch and run around with the kids. Bike rental is reasonable (2hr rental) or you can bring your own bike for a small fee and ride all day. There is food, coffee, and snacks all on the grounds making the stay a simple one. Did I mention the main pool has a water slide? We will be returning for sure!

A real hidden gem free from the masses of tourists! Super beautiful gardens with a really peaceful vibe situated about half hour away from the center of the city. The staff were super friendly and it was a true privilege to cycle around this beautiful location.

We hired bikes and had a lovely day just riding around looking at all the different types of plants. There is lots to look at and the place is very big so the bikes are definitely worth hiring

This place is garden, but includes animals and some traditional Thai temples as well. We hired golf cart driver for 1.5hr and definitely better than walking or bicycling in the fierce sunlight.

A beautiful botanical garden with a small zoo. It’s worth renting a bike (75 baht), cause it’s a large place. A great place for plant lovers. There are also a few traditional Lanna style wooden houses you can visit.

The gardens are very lovely with some cute playgrounds. We hired 2 bikes as it was hot and it is quite large. But way too expensive!!! We finally found a restaurant for a drink and foid. Service was super slow, but food was nice. I don't think I would ever go again. Why they charge for admission I don't understand!!!

A tiny bit expensive by Thai standards but worth spending a few hours walking, biking or catching the bus. You can also get a guided tour in a gold cart by a knowledgeable and friendly driver. The whole place is child and family friendly but enjoyable for adults looking for a quiet afternoon. The cafe and restaurant is good and reasonably priced.

We only had a couple of hours in Chiang Mai, on a Monday, and we decided to go to this place. Here we rented bikes and go around is a very relaxing place, with a lot of trees, flowers, medicinal plants, one waterfall. Down side some cage animals :( peacocks. You can also swim and eat there.

Thought this place would disappoint buy was very pleasantly surprised! Fairly extensive grounds to explore so the bike rental is highly recommended. A fair amount of animals on the grounds so pick up some fish food and a bag of greens to feed the critters.

Lovely hidden gem! Out of the way of the tourist areas. So peaceful, beautiful place. Well kept. It was lovely to just hire a bicycle and cycle around the gardens.
