The best place near Chiang Mai if you want to catch some big healthy Mekong Cats. The fishing is consistent with a nice mix of different age class fish. 90% of the fish we caught looked very healthy with good looking fins and body weight. The reels on the rental equipment badly need to updated, other than that a very fun experience.

Prolific fishing, very pleasant owner and our guide pong. My arms were hanging off after 5hrs of fishing a bite every cast. I caught at least 50 mekong catfish.

Absolutely love this place. The Mekong Giant Catfish give a tremendous fight.

Ok lets look at the pluses: bite rate was 1 cast 1 fish, all hits were patin or mekong. Their fight was overall decent but they had no chance against the house tackle. Very nice environment, went down on a morning and I was alone so super peaceful. Didn't order but it seems like they had good selection of food and drinks. Ok now for the downs. The overall care for equipment was quite lacking - my net has a gaping hole in it meaning the fish went through with my line still on - risking a broken rod. the hook given to me was barbed (I debarbed as a standard practise for cnr ponds). Lastly the plier to unhook the fish was too short as most of my cats had the hook super deep. Lastly and most imptly, I didn't feel welcomed at all. It was almost like I was begging to use the pond. All requests above was met with loud responses, rude Nos. Maybe the lady owner had a bad day, but I left after 2 hours, just couldn't take it. P.s bring enough thb for the deposit and I'd recommend just getting a guide. The baiting, landing are a job on its own and you can focus on fishing.

Very good. Incredibly helpful guides and I managed to snag 14 fish over 2.30hrs. Some real monsters here too

The fishing experience is a lot of fun. However the place is very run down. And the rod I used was broken.

Amazing experience, my partner and I went with the walk in half day package which included a guide. I forgot his name but he was absolutely a delight and great company. We caught huge catfish on almost every cast (and I’m no pro fisherman) creating some new memories whilst doing so. Pros (+) -all the staff were amazing! -facilities and equipment -food and drinks on site -their 2 super adorable dogs Cons (-) -it’s approx 25mins out of town (not really a con but just for the walkers out there) Thanks again to Bosang Fishing Park!

Fished there 2 hours 2 persons. We caught min. 10 catfish, 2 was 15kilo+ Price 380baht/person incl. Rod and bait. Advice put the bait directly/push it firmly on the hook, and make a gentle cast only a few meters from shore. Instead of using the bait box on the line. That way they get much easier hooked....

It's suitable fishing place for beginners like me. Had a good time to fish with my friend.

A fun outing - good photo ops....It's a catch and release park.....Biggest we caught was about 4 feet long & 35/45? kilos....Each designated spot has a table, roof for shade, with built in benches.... Facilities are clean and well presented; the Thai food is very good + reasonably priced.....By lunch time the place was full of diners from the local area ..... Fishing tackle is available for rent, if needed.... There's some big fish there that would challenge light tackle.... A good (off beat) adventure....

Awesome place, very friendly staff. Great activity for both adults and children! Highly recommended. Plus, the lunch is cheap but very delicious.

If you want to catch big catfish pay for the trainer. Spent all day and landed 3 50 kg catfish plus many more of varying sizes. A dsys sport. Knocked of 1 star as they advertise more species. But catfish will give you a fight

Amazing day fishing here, we had a lot of fun. The fishing gear is a bit old and worn out but the lake has some monsters in it. Biggest catch was about 40 is KG (89 LB).
