Very poor service and food was sloppy. Servers were involved in "important" personal discussion. It seemed like it must have been important because I could hear that one was upset with a personal situation and the other fed her concerns instead of feeding me. Forget drink refills. Then 2 staff came from the back, maybe dishwashers or prep cooks, to have a loud happy conversation with 3 friends at the table behind me while sitting and standing across from them. It sure sounded happy although I couldn't understand it. In fact how about if I provide pictures of both issues here for you to see? It all made my dinner miserable

When you go to Denny's it's for the nostalgia. To be honest what you get for breakfast is absolutely not worth the money but some Denny's just have that 50's vibe worth experiencing one a year or as a tourist. The burgers and other dinner menu's are fine.

Driving from Perris to San Luis Obispo, for a simple demo work. After work was completed breakfast was good old Dennys.. (everything else was closed 4am) Upon pulling into the parking lot shell gas station was next door convenient as I only had 3 bars left. In the parking lot I was the I was the only patron at the time. Walked through the door staff was waiting for me sat me promptly. As I read over the menu the server went for my drink while the cook took my order commenced to make it. Shortly after the food came out all fresh looking great. All Amercan Slam w/ sourdough bread and french toast. No issues with the food although couldn't finish the last 2 french toast. Server kept asking if all was great, which it was. Never can go wrong with Denny's. Depending on the moment of course. Wouldn't flinch at stopping at this particular branch when I'm out here again.

Fourth time from: Nov. 15, 22, and Dec. 1 and 11, to order the delicious fries and bacon avocado burger. Since Carl's Jr. at Marigold Plaza closed early at 4 PM on Dec. 11, Art and I drove over across SLO Town to Denny's on my 4th visit there in less than a month. We both ordered the same burger with fries as above, chocolate shake, and with onions rings so very Yummy. Employees Daniel, Barbara, Jesus, and Brendan, and some other diners were all very enjoyable.

It's a Denny's, it should be affordable for a college kid on drugs. Can't believe I'm saying this but the prices are so high now. Breakfast for two with beverages and tip was almost $50. Food was decent, service was great, but wow I guess I'm too poor for Denny's.

Denny's restaurant will never get old. The service here was on point, and the food was ridiculously fresh and delicious. Can't beat the prices either.

We had the $8.99 breakfast it is advertised for $6.99 but charged us more. Waiter just said its $8.99 here 🤔 You get all you can eat scrambled eggs with cheese hash browns and 2 pancakes. Nothing fancy just a regular breakfast.

Clean restaurant, fast service. One of the better Dennys you can visit. Good server. Food cooked well.

The server Jason is outstanding, was on top of it and helpful, good vibes all the way. I feel like the cooks always also so a great job a this Denny’s compared to others in the area. Thank you!

We eat here semi frequently. They've always got new stuff. Never really gotten anything I didn't like. Always open when you need them and aren't understaffed unlike most places in slo. Surprisingly the steak is really good! And the sides that come with it. The milkshakes ate actually My favorite in town!

I'm not a Dennys guy, but the other day, I stopped in. For an establishment that is open 24/7, this place was spotless! Cleaner than most places, food was served quickly and hot. I really can't complain about anything I would recommend this particular Denny’s if you in the area and need a quick bite

Restaurant hostess aren't welcoming and friendly like they used to be. But tables and restaurant was clean, food was good. Just don't order online. I ordered food a couple of weeks ago (first comment is for dine in, this comment is about delivery). The door dash person forgot my two Oreo shakes which I never did receive nor was refunded for. Denny's needs to have contact or away to communicate with the driver who delivers the food. Apparently they wanted me to do this

My Server was knowledgeable and helped the old folks in my party save money. She knew her menu quite well and the best way to give you an affordable meal. A true professional. However I ordered a chicken fried steak eggs with gravy The gravy was cold the fried steak was also ice cold in the middle I sent it back and they reheated it unfortunately by then everything else should already been eaten which makes for a bad meal experience. I suggested to the server if her cooks were not going to be paying attention to how warm the trays are when they're coming out or how hot the food was it would be beneficial for her to arm herself with a quick shoot thermometer so that she may be able to know what she is serving is good so she does not suffer in the tips area for the shortcomings of her cook. it's a rough time right now we're using a lot of new people and it is important that we train them properly Cook should know that food must be a certain temperature to serve had this been a hospital or skilled nursing facility the state would have been up there checking out why the food was ice cold in the middle This is just unprofessional and well below the standard set by Denny's restaurants Nationwide. Hopefully they can resolve this shortcoming in their labor.

The service was excellent waitress had her hands full seems she was pretty much on her own manager and it looks like bus boys did place us to seat 10 people the guys took our drink order and she took and served our plates by herself while attending to tables around us. The young manger did excellent by coming out to each table asking if everything was ok cudos to him. We visited Monday morning 5/22

The worse experience I’ve had in a very long time I understand they have all new staff members servers and cooks but from waiting for an hour to get our food to them messing up our order and the food tasting absolutely awful! The bacon tasted like cardboard the loaded potato soup was watery and only had 4 potatoes in it, asked for the premium chicken tenders ended up receiving 2 kids meals. Extremely disappointing as we had just drove 2 hours and wanted a decent meal.

Besides the food being your typical “end of the night, I want a brick in my stomach, I don’t even care if it’s real food” .. I come here over and over for the staff. One in particular, Janette. Always rocking an infectious smile and a willingness to laugh at my tragically unfunny jokes. I drive from Grover beach, passing the Denny’s in pismo beach just to come here and interact with her. While the “food” will forever be the equivalent of a culinary dumpster fire, and cause me to bloodfart immediately after finishing, Janette’s warm and welcoming presence are worth the trips to my local dry cleaners.

Servers are always friendly and welcoming. They stay in touch with regulars by remembering personal stories. Young servers are very attentive and helpful. Tried the crepes with strawberries on top. Had a vanilla creme filling. Looking for a light breakfast it filled the need.

It's our go to place to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. Prices are reasonable and the menu has many options.

I ate from the 55 yr old menu. I had the salmon. It was good. I asked for water. He forgot and finally brought it after asking again. No big deal. It does speak of the service. Over all a good experience.

A bit expensive from an older building that was a bit dingy. The employees were very polite and knowledgeable. The food was fine, I had a country fried steak that was pretty good.

Who gives someone one pack of syrup for 2 pancakes. Definitely not a to go service unless you are on top of your game and check the bag.

It was a Denny's, but I do have to say they upped their game as a chain since the face-lift, better service and better food, still at the Denny's prices. We had breakfast, seated quickly, got our food quickly, and had no complaints. Denny's is always an American staple, makes you feel at home no matter where you go.

Eggs benedick gone WRONG!!! So the sauce on top is 100% cheese sauce, no lemon juice or egg yolks to be seen or tasted. The egg under the cheese sauce is over cooked and not runny. Got the ham on point. The bread was there for show not even toasted. The coffee tasted like watered down day old coffee. The best part of my whole breakfast was the mango smoothie, that I do recommen on drinks safe to drink and matches its taste and looks yum!!! The service once sat down was beyond careless, and just down right rude. I was told by staff that it's not cheese sauce and that its Denny's house sauce. That said I hope that management will have a weekly meeting on guest services and also the kitchen staff on cooking an all American classic eggs benedick. I am safe serve certified and more than willing to come in and meet with management and staff to show how guest services and also the correct way to prepare eggs benedick. The manager did comp the meal.
