100% recommend. Best burgers we’ve had on our travels. I had the Bhaji burger and my bf had the blue cheese. I’d love to have tried more of the menu. All seemed delicious. Chef was a pure gent also!

"If you're in the area, I highly recommend visiting this restaurant. I work at a fine dining establishment at a ski resort in Colorado, and I can honestly say that this place surpassed my expectations. I ordered the porterhouse steak and was pleasantly surprised when Chef Mike asked if I liked mushrooms. The mushroom sauce he topped my steak with was the best I've ever had. I would fly from the States just to have his food again. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience. In fact, I would give it 10 stars if I could. Don't miss out on this gem!

The best restaurant in and around Lanquin. Very friendly owners (a man from the UK together with his wife from Guatemala). The restaurant is very cosy with six tables outside. The food was delicious; all ingredients are fresh and the cooks (both owners) have over 15 years of experience in the kitchen.

This is place with a soul! Owner who is also the chef has a great team. - Ambience is well taken care of and invested into during the evening. - English is of a high standard among all of the staff. - Smaller menu cart but all great dishes! - Wines that can be fitted to the meal(s) that have chosen. The whole combination of all these factors made this in to the best restaurant experience me and my girlfriend have had in Guatemala. Thanks a lot

Definitely one of the best dining experiences we had in Guatemala! The food at Zen’s Bistro is amazing, we had the curry which was absolutely delicious! The service is also beyond compare, all of the staff came to check on us throughout our evening including Chef Mike! The care as well as the gorgeous surroundings made for a really enjoyable evening. We will definitely be back before we leave the area!! This place is not to be missed!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It was amazing. Chef Mike and his team created an unforgettable experience. The told us everything about the food, wine and local community, which was amazing. After dinner they even made a bonfire and set up a telescope to watch the stars and the moon! You should definitely visit when you are in Lanquin

Best restaurant in Lanquin! We discovered this place because it was really close to where we are staying, and we couldn’t be happier! We went for dinner there both nights during our two day trip. Michael and his family are lovely and the place feels so warm and inviting. The food is some of the best that we’ve had in Guatemala and elsewhere! The quality is exceptional and super fresh and you can tell that Michael is really passionate about the food he serves. The second night we celebrated our grandmother’s birthday and Michael purchased a whole cake just for her to share with the restaurant. It was very sweet and special. Highly recommend!!

The food was simply excellent. Finally tasty and quality food in Guatemala Mike the head chef is a wonderful and pleasant person I recommend anyone in the area to go there! Leave the hotels, take a tuk tuk for 10 GTQ and get there
