What a charming restaurant! I went in the middle of a Tuesday morning and there was still a wait at this popular San Miguel de Allende eatery. Since I was solo on this excursion, they seated me at the communal table after a fifteen minute wait. They were so friendly as I was seated and greeted by everyone on staff. As soon as I sat down, they asked me what I wanted to drink. I asked if they had fresh green juice and they said they did. It was brought quickly while I perused the menu. The backyard patio is such a charming setting. Lots of trees and greenery and far enough from the busy main road that you can't hear any traffic or noise. I ordered the fresh fruit plate and the breakfast sandwich. The fruit was so well presented and included strawberries, papaya, bananas, cantaloupe, raspberries and grapes. It was large enough to share if you're dining with others. The breakfast sandwich was on fresh Ciabatta and was a perfect flavor blend. I almost added the bacon for an extra 30 pesos, but I wanted to experience the original sandwich with all the veggies and guacamole. It came with two tomato slices and a small pot of tasty seasoned potatoes. The service was so friendly and professional. You could tell the whole staff took pride in their restaurant. I highly recommend Rustica and I'll definitely be back again. 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

What a wonderful gem we found in this beautiful restaurant! The green drink was the best we've ever had along with the ricotta nuts, breakfast tacos (added bacon) and pancakes. Everything was fresh and very delicious. Lots of options for vegans as well as gluten free. The service was outstanding with Gerardo being the shining star that made us feel so welcome. The ambiance of decor, music, friendly staff will definitely have us returning on our next trip!

We are obsessed with this place, so much that we came 3 days in a row! There is a huge range of breakfast and lunch options on the menu and they are all delicious! We especially loved the blue cacao bowl, grilled vegetable salad, red snapper with tomatoes, and the steak sandwich. The staff are super warm and friendly as well. We hope to be back soon!

Let me start by saying it is pet friendly and also that it is a lovely place with indoor and outdoor seating area. The menu in both English and Spanish is wide, and with a big range of options including vegetarian and vegan. Good size portions, decent prices and super friendly/kind staff. Amazing.

What is not to like about Rustica? Every member of staff we encountered was polite, courteous and professional. The food is excellent, beautifully presented and very tasty. A special mention is needed for our server, Angel. He was extremely helpful, very knowledgeable in respect to the menu and always keeping an eye out to ensure we had all we needed. He also had great taste in movies and music!! We look forward to our next discussion with him and of course the opportunity to enjoy all that Rustica has to offer, from its great setting and atmosphere to its service and food.

This is a must in San Miguel de Allebde. Everything is delicious 😋 and very well-served. I like to go early because it gets crowded in the morning-the wait it worth it, though. Parking spots are not easy to find if you get in front of the restaurant or close by you are lucky, but it is how it is in San Miguel de Allende. Just be aware of that.

My favorite breakfast dining experience in Mexico! The service, patio atmosphere and food were all 10/10! I had the breakfast bagel and peanut butter fruit toast. Highly recommend both!

Heard a lot of good things about this place. It was not my favorite, I feel there are better breakfast places around but they were reasonably priced and the staff super friendly. I didn't even mind that they messed up my order. They almost all spoke English very well perhaps it's why it's popular with the gringos.

We were looking for a place for breakfast that has outdoor seating and great coffee. This is the place. Quick service and a variety of vegetarian options. The place was full on Sunday morning, if you're a bog group, reservation is recommended.

Excellent service. Excellent food. Great coffee. My only regret is not finding the place sooner. Everything on the menu sounds amazing. The molletes were amazing and the French toast was incredible too.

From the outside you might think there isn't much to see but like so many other places in San Miguel, once you get inside there is so much more. Immediately you'll notice exceptional service from the time you're being seated. Often times the owner will come to your table to meet you and if you're not careful the conversation will go so long and be so engaging you'll miss out on the first round of orders lol. Whether you're here for coffee, breakfast or lunch you'll have an incredible experience! I will definitely be back again and again.

Wow! The food and coffee is outstanding! Delicious and exquisite! You will not be disappointed! Anything you order is done with love and soul… All the staff is super friendly and attentive and this makes the dining experience all the more special… The space is also decorated tastefully! Make sure you book a table or you will have to wait or worse miss the chance on an amazing meal!

Excellent customer attention and service. Back patio is very comfortable. Someone saw the original ruins and thought "this would make a great dining area". We both had the molletes, very happy about our choice. Being a masala chai drinker, their's was pretty good vs the hot liquid add powder you get in a lot of places. Very reasonable prices. Definitely going back. Highly recommended.

Delicious food and excellent service! They use fresh local ingredients of the highest quality. Did I mention the key lime pie for dessert—the best I’ve ever had!

I had a wonderful experience here. Fast, professional and accommodating service, one of the best Americanos I’ve ever had, breakfast sandwich was delicious and filling (and presentation gorgeous). Green juice was perfect. The decor of the restaurant is beautiful, filled with plants and little artistic touches everywhere. I sat on the second floor next to a plant filled balcony and floor to ceiling opened window with a lovely breeze. I’m definitely going back.

Rustica is another great choice to enjoy a delicious breakfast in San Miguel de Allende. The vibe is really cool and the service impecable. Upstairs it offers a pleasant space for remote working in a quiet environment. Highly recommended

Had lunch here today and loved it. Great location, service, food and value. Took our dog with us. We’ll be back for sure.

First meal in San Miguel de Allende here and what a treat! I was having a bout of acidity so I ordered neutral dishes so I was gutted not trying their fig pizzetta for example. But the Turkish eggs sans chili butter and the oats were comforting. They went above and beyond to meet my friend’s dietary restrictions as well. Love the patio in the back especially with great weather. Staff is well-trained and nice.

How can I put this?! Please go HERE! Don't miss this place! It's a wonder of amazement + sustainable creative explosions! We had no idea what to expect + this blew our minds! The minute you walk in you are transported into a world of natural beauty + dishes that are situated on tree platters..+ even cuter than that is the way they taste! DELICIOUS!! This is some of the best food in the city hands down. Trees + nature is incorporated in everything + even the bathrooms have adorable antique faucets that will make you friendly. P.S. cat friendly! :) :)

Truly amazing place, I found it via googlemaps with great rating so gave it a try. We had an amazing breakfast in this wonderful place with local- modern atmosphere👍 we had mollettes (sour bread, black beans, egg, avokado, guacamole and a bit of potato fried pieces and pico de gallo😋) and 2pc of tacos with egg, avocado, champignons and black beans. For drink we ordered absolutely perfect homemade “green juice” (freshly made from spinach, cucumber, cactus, pineapple and orange juice- ingredible morning boost, great taste👍), cafe latte and matcha latte. I fully recommend this place and would return back anytime 😋😋😋 Service was nice, helpful, all fine.

We came here on a recommendation of a friend and so glad we did! The food was amazing. I had the avocado toast with a side of eggs and my husband had the pancakes. Both were great choices. We also both had the jugo verde. Yum! Food was delicious and the waitstaff really elevated our experience. Kind, thoughtful with just the right amount of attention. You will not regret a visit to this lovely restaurant.

Rustica is one of the good places to have breakfast, brunch or lunch. I tried chilaquiles and it was very good. I can also recommend breakfast burritos which could be more filling. Some of the staff was not very friendly but the overall experience was good.

👍 Today, I visited La Gruta and, based on other people's reviews, I really didn't know what to expect. So let me tell you ALL about it! First, the entrance fee is wildly inexpensive. $250 mxn - that's about $12.10 us, 11.90€, or a little under $18 au - and for a spa you can visit all day, that's an a...
