Fantastic food, great attentive service. Really friendly owner, who is always willing to explain more about the ingredients. Value for money is excellent. The five course (actually six course, einde you can even choose your desert) diner offers a truly great experience. One of the finest choices in the Tuscany region!

Probably our best meal this time around in Tuscany! Superb place, service, food and wine. 9 of us: variety of dishes - highlights; octopus grilled, langoustine pasta, sturgeon and gnocchi. The local premier wines were incredible: Serverus was unreal! So very good. Daniel looked after us and was brilliant. Sit outside and enjoy the landscape and skies! Highly recommended

Beautiful garden setting. Food was very different and beautifully presented. We had the fish tasting menu and loved every course.

What a great dinner! The tasting earth menu it’s a perfect mix of local dishes but made in a modern way. Very good wine selection alongside a very good mâitre which suggested a us a wonderful atypical Pinot noir (Ventisei of Rio). Very suggested !

Buonissimo! Excellent. We have been twice, and the food and service was superb on both occasions. Full even on a Monday, you should make a reservation. My choices last night, Rotolo di coniglio for antipasto, cotteletto di agnello for secondi potato, melt in the mouth delicious. 3 courses and a bottle of wine for 2 was under 100eu, and for what we got, is very good value. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending them.

We had the most amazing time here, try the tagliolini all tartufo . Also the tuna fish was excellent, chocolate fondant with custard is a must very happy with our choices

For me pasta was very salty and I did not enjoy .. with this price you can eat more delicious dinner in Tuscany area ..

Had one of the best dishes of my life here. In fact, with the first bite I knew this would be the dish I would request as my final meal before I die if I could choose. The white truffle tagliolini. Perfectly al dente, a mind blowingly balanced butter sauce, plus the freshest white truffle you can find. This place deserves 3 Michelin stars for this one dish alone. And they allow dogs. Definitely worth a special trip just for this place. Thank you so much to the friendly Facebook person who recommended this restaurant to us. If someone asked what the best part of our honeymoon was, I’d probably say this plate of pasta. 100000000 stars!

Excellent all round - don’t hesitate to book! . We celebrated our friends big birthday and we couldn’t have been more well looked after. Danielle chose us some excellent wines, all local, very reasonable and ones that we didn’t know about, but certainly will buy again. The service was attentive and efficient, and the food was outstanding- great selection on menus, it’s exceptional value and a beautiful surrounding We really enjoyed our meal and was highlight of our holiday

Recommended by our Villa host, Papaveri e Papere is located in an unassuming part of San Miniato. The majority of the dining room was locals, which was a great indication of the high quality that we would also get to experience. The friendly and professional staff spoke very little English, but were very helpful in our course selections (they do have the menu and wine list available in English). All of our dinners were delicious and a real treat!

We had a great dinner, with many courses and delicious wine recommended by the sommelier including a sublime Ansonica from Giglio Island and a local vernaccia , service was outstanding, everyone had a great time.

Coming from San Miniato basso, we did not find any sign of this restaurant on our way there and it was so difficult to reach the place. Canoli were not as the original we ate in Sicily.

Not worth the price, unfortunately. The dessert and appetizers were the highlights

My first real taste of Italian food, server explained alot to me as I was very lost of course . I choose 2 meals with appetizer and each and every bit had a hummmm come from my taste buds, if ever in Tuscany its a must stop in location.....Bravo !!
