While in Chiang Mai, this was the first yoga place I visited, and I‘ve enjoyed it a lot. Very dedicated staff, the classes are demanding and probably not for beginners, but for me it was uplifting and inspiring. The morning classes can get full, so come with some time in advance and bring moscito repellent. The class room is simple and quiet and you can focus on your poses and follow the teacher easily. I have tried different instructors and I was always satisfied. Thank you !

The yoga teacher was great, very warm and corrected when necessary. She always had a smile on her face. Enchanting and you really feel like you are welcome in her heart. The boss seems very strict to me. There was no warm greeting, but in a military tone they said: "Wash your feet and hands!!!" Seems to have something against dark people too. Very condescending to me. Her main concern is making money. The yoga room was far too small and dark. People are close to each other.

I booked yesterday on whatsapp and it was my best choice in my travel! My mom and i had almost no experience in yoga so little worried but Annie teacher was sooooo kind. She gave us lots of options according to levels and when constantly encouraged us. I cannot say that it was super easy but it makes me feel focused on my breathing and my body. I wanna try other classes during our stay in Chiang Mai. The place was really green and calm. I highly recommend!

Do you ever get the feeling of an overwhelming sense of warmth and comfort when you encounter a space? This yoga studio was it for me. There were so many details that just made wild rose feel like I was being given a big loving hug. I wanted to extend my stay just so I could practice at this studio more. From the entrance, to the smell of fresh gardenia in the bathroom, to the wonderful yoga classes that will last in my memory for a long time. I am grateful for this place and would highly recommend checking it out. Classes fill up fast, so make sure to pre register to experience the bliss. Thank you, Rose ✨🌹

Great and beautiful yoga studio, high quality classes, friendly staff. Reserve in advance (via WhatsApp / through the website) because the studio is popular and has limited space.

Hello, Rose. I have enjoyed your classes for last 4 days. Because of my flight time, I couldn’t make my Sunday class. I learned a lot from great instructors and Rose is such a great business woman who knows how to run a great yoga studio. See you again in the future.

This will be the best place you’ve ever practiced yoga…. why? Well, I’ve been practicing yoga at various yet consistent studios in America over the last 15 years of my life. But I must say that I’ve experienced a deeper growth in my yoga practice and a significant sense of community in just 2 weeks with Wild Rose yoga then I’ve ever been exposed to in my several years of practice prior. The reality is that this studio isn’t just a place to do yoga… it’s a living breathing beautiful naturalistic place with an arms wide open community waiting for you to join. The instructors at Wild Rose are incredibly knowledgeable and humble teachers. Breath is their number one focus and a recurring theme in all classes. Breath is the most important posture and every teacher encourages that beautiful theme. Enjoy your time with the Wild Rose family, this place will become your home away from home. Thank you Wild Rose team! All of my love!

Really nice vibe and spiritual place - however take note that you have to wash your hands and feet before going to class. Also mosquito spray is provided with nice changing and showering area

My favorite studio in Chiang Mai so far. The owner Rose is incredibly kind and helpful. She even referred me to a landlady nearby to aid me in my search for accommodation ☻ Kru Annie is wonderful and has a myriad of variations up her sleeve to help make her class work for all level yogis. The studio also regularly hosts Yoga Teacher Training Certifications and workshops. I took one day of the Ayurveda in motion class with Sera and was in love! I wish I could have afforded to take the whole course ☹ NOTE: The studio is small and thus classes fill up FAST (they can host 20 students MAX & that’s a tight squeeze) so come at least 30minutes before class is meant to start in order to secure your preferred spot. Also classes usually run over by about 10-15minutes. If you’re not on a tight schedule this is fine; I actually prefer this because it means the teachers are given the freedom to teach openly and thoroughly, instead of cut themselves off when it’s time to go. I was very happy to find this Chiang Mai gem thanks to a referral from a yogi friend☻ thanks for everything Rose!

I have been in chiang mai for a month and Wild Rose Yoga is by far the most organized and structured studio i have been to since here. Rose has a beautiful upbeat energy that is contagious and the teachers know exactly what they are doing. Plus, the studio itself is REALLY beautiful. I highly recommend it - Séby🫶🇨🇦

Lovely place!! The manager, Rose, is so charming and kind, she gives her whole heart to this place. The teacher, Annie, was so nice and slowly and gently explained the poses. Even if you don't practice Yoga regularly, they will make you feel at home and teach you the basics. I highly recommend joining a class in this beautiful and relaxing Yoga studio!

I took the one-day class at 8 am. It's also great for visiting the Gate morning market right next to it! The class lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes and is easy to follow even for beginners, and they also help you correct your posture. I think most of them are tourists. But the quality never lags! suggestion !

Amazing class by May? Great flows and some of the best adjustments I have ever received 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Had the best hatha yoga and meditation class with Kru Ta. I was visiting from California and felt the studio was immaculate. They have you wash your hands and feet before entering the yoga area. I wish more U.S. classes did this actually. Kru Ta provided a perfect class. He provided gentle adjustments in class, but only with consent. 10/10 recommend!!! Sign up.

Wonderful small yoga school. With a warm atmosphere exhaling love and community. The wooden floors and walls give it the warmth and authentic Thai feel. Because it is small it gives you that cuddlie feeling that will take you through your yoga class.

The first yoga studio that comes to mind when I think of Chiang Mai. I've taken classes with four different teachers, and they are all great teachers. As someone who enjoys challenging and strenuous practices, I found Annie and May's classes to be the best. The studio is quite small, so the mats are close together. It was enjoyable to subtly encroach into each other's mat space while moving our bodies in various ways. And I’m also grateful to Rose, who always greeted people including me with a warm smile 🫶🏻

A true gem. I came for 5 classes over the course of a week. The owner, Rose, was so kind and patient with me, welcoming me to the studio and showing me where to put my bag and which mat to use. It is a very busy studio, so the classes are very full, but the instructors are kind, patient teachers with lots of hands on adjustments if wanted and options for levels of poses per your practice level. I really enjoyed the block flow class with Kru Annie. I would return to practice here in a heartbeat. A truly amazing experience for any yogi in chiang mai.

The most amazing Yoga practice I did. The place breaths an incredible energy. Annie is magick, her way to teach and her energy are perfect to create a beautiful atmosphere for practice. Thank you from my heart.🤍

I like the tranquilness of the place. Very down to earth, Kru Earthy gave clear instructions and help to improve on our poses. This is a great find during my travel in Chiangmai!

The architecture is incredibly beautiful with every single detailed decoration. The smile from the front counter and instructors are all great. Thanks for the two months-long class in summer Chiangmai😊

Excellent Slow Vinyasa class with Annie. Really form focused, balance and core work heavy, good variations for various levels. Better for more experienced yogis so don’t tell them you have a practice if you are actually a novice! They’re a bit particular about that but overall it was great and I wish I discovered this place sooner on my trip because I would definitely go back for other classes!

I can't recommend this place enough, such a great studio and one of the highlights of my holiday. The owner Rose was very welcoming. I attended a week's worth of classes with teachers Annie, Earthy and May. Despite having varying styles, all of them were knowledgeable and incredibly talented at what they do. I particularly enjoyed the Saturday class with May with lots of inversions and the ability to explore more advanced asanas with her assistance. I can't wait to come back to Chiang Mai to practice with them again. Thank you!

Great vibe and a variety of classes! Very nice studio, really. A bit hard to find, but once you've come at least once - it's right there for you) enjoy and do yoga! ))) oh, and they also sell some healthy drinks like kombucha and honey lemon refreshing drink - my fave! Not posting pics of the class as there are lots already ) Ps: couldn't resist to post one pic of the studio space though )))

Woah... these are some of the best yoga flows I've ever done. I went twice during my stay in Chiang Mai. I walked out the first time feeling giddy and reborn. Creative and nurturing flows that challenge you to see where your limits really are, all the while listening to those limits and respecting your body. Beautiful space, kind & welcoming teachers, really detailed instructions, free use of herbal mosquito repellent. I was so sad to leave Chiang Mai just for this yoga studio.

It seems like a very popular yoga studio as the class was fully booked but nevertheless Khru Earthy and Rose took time to look after each student and adjust or support poses if necessary, it felt very genuine and attentive (especially as I wasn’t in best shape that day) plus the space is so calming and beautiful and run with love and professionalism. Thank you for the experience!

I just came back to Chiang Mai after 6 years away and the first place I visited was Wild Rose for some yoga. I absolutely love the vibe of the studio. Rose, the teachers and staff are all so wonderful and make everyone feel very welcome. 10 out of 10 highly recommend!

Rose is a gracious host who welcomes you into her studio as if she’s welcoming you into her home. I initially felt like an honored guest, and then after successive visits, I felt at home. I can’t comment on all of the yoga classes offered, but I can tell you Gernot’s classes were helpful. He encouraged us to take our eyes off of achieving and striving and fear of failure and emphasized good form, knowing your limits, smiling when you fall over, and challenging yourself in healthy ways. Gernot moved overseas, so his classes are no longer available. Nico, has a class that is similar, but it’s a bit more intense in terms of the stretches and less focused on education. Still a worthwhile experience. Check the website for upcoming classes, which will resume after the air pollution clears out. April 2023 Update: The studio is open again. I’ve done two of Kru Annie’s slow Vinyasa flow classes, and they were awesome.

What a great studio, practised here for a week everyday. A lovely old building and setting in the old town. Teachers are so knowledgeable, fun and helpful. Usually do bikram but this opened up to so much more. Classes are often 2 hours great value and suit all levels. Rose is an amazingly helpful and lovely lady. Recommend this big time if your in chaing mai.

I absolutely loved the yoga classes here and I highly recommend you attend! Make sure you book in advance! It’s exceptionally welcoming and professionally run. For myself I attended Mai’s classes (wide range of abilities in class easily catered for). You can challenge yourself to your own abilities.

Superb class! Beautiful studio and I truly enjoyed the passionate energy of the instructor! The class was almost 2 hours but I took the slow Vinyasa class and it was just perfect, I didn’t even realize that the time passed. It was so intentional! Grateful for this practice!

Very experienced and gentle teachers. You can for sure deepen your practice or start one if you are a beginner. Everyone is so welcoming and they encourage you to get the most of you. One of my favorite yoga salas so far. You will for sure learn something new in every class.

I love this studio so much. The space is beautiful and the instructors and owner are very knowledgeable. I think it's wonderful when a studio listens to their clients and loved that I was able to attend a class that the regulars wanted (a longer class with inversions/experimentation). The flows are also very unique. This has been one of my favorite places to practice yoga, for sure.

Long overdue review- first attended classes here in July and it has been so great. Rose, who runs the studio, is an amazing human being with such a lovely aura & vibe to her. Each time I visit, I am signed in by the very welcoming and friendly frontdesk person, Ting. All the teachers bring with them a different good energy which all resonates with the authentic generosity of giving and sharing in the name of yoga - something I truly appreciate. The studio is also a very beautiful space. Please keep doing what you do, each one of you. Namaste 🙏🕉️
