Ajah market is a prominent place along Ajah axis. Few kilometers from VGC, and Lekki phase 1. It's a local market with moderately priced item. Under the bridge, you can get buses going to mainland (oshodi and iyana oworo), and mini buses going to island (Lekki, jakande, CMS). Keke napep to (badore). To the other side, you get bus going to Abraham adesanya, Ibeju-lekki, lawe, ShopRite, etc. Bikes to places like barracuda beach, lafiaju beach, etc.) The market closes late into the night, and open around 10am. You can get varieties of things like perishables, electronics, phone accessories, etc. It is moderate dense from 12pm -6pm. There can be moderate traffic during these hours, if you are driving. There has been records of theft and kidnapping under the bridge and on the bridge, you might want to keep valuables close. Careful to enter private cars during the nights. Lastly, always share your location to someone on your phone.

Apart from occasionally being stopped by some people to ask for money. It's pretty cool.

Crowded as always but there is high possibility that you will find all your needs in this market without much stress..... Note that this is Lagos so don't dull yourself.

A one stop local market where all kinds of groceries are sold, it also has a portion as fleamarket, spiritual stores as well as stationary stores all have their corners and stalls. Heavy motor spare parts and other automobiles parts are also displayed in some portion of the market.

Located in the heart of Ajah, the market , Easy to navigate , and a good place to get relatively anything, though the options may be limited in some case. Good prices too. You may want to compare rates between shops as prices may vary. In some cases it's cheaper to buy foodstuffs from the stores outside the market cos you will get competitive rates.

Well not so bad but the prices of things are becoming extremely too high. Also I think something need to be done at the walkway cause people are now using their goods to block the way making it difficult for people to pass

Not a market I like to visit due to how overcrowded it can be, no parking space as it's has heavy traffic for those trying to cut off the traffic on the main road/express.

My recent visit to the Ajah market was a delightful experience. The bustling atmosphere was alive with vibrant colors, enticing aromas, and the cheerful chatter of both vendors and shoppers. What stood out to me was the evident fairness in pricing throughout the market even with the current economic situation in the country. As I wandered from stall to stall, I couldn't help but notice the consistent balance between quality and cost. The produce section boasted an array of fresh fruits and vegetables, all reasonably priced and neatly presented. It was refreshing to see that the prices were reflective of the items' true value, making it a welcoming place for budget-conscious shoppers like myself. The fair pricing extended beyond just the fresh produce. Clothing, handicrafts, and other goods were all reasonably marked, encouraging a sense of trust and satisfaction among buyers. The vendors appeared genuinely dedicated to offering their wares at prices that were accessible to the local community, fostering a strong bond between sellers and consumers. Overall, my experience at the market was not only a feast for the senses but also a heartening display of economic fairness. It's evident that the market has managed to strike a harmonious balance between affordability and quality, making it a true gem in our community.

Sometimes the gutters overflow and flood the outside, there's also a constant traffic issue. But the market itself is what you'll want with all services and goods available for consumption
