Awesome spot! The coffee was great, prices were reasonable, and the seating area inside was really open and comfortable. I also heard they’ll have outdoor seating soon too which will be great. Glad to have this in downtown SB!

Awesome little spot located in the lobby of the new Drift Hotel. Stopped here every morning throughout my stay… much better than burnt coffee at a Starbucks. Alex really knows his coffee/teas and he made sure I was well caffeinated. They make a killer honey matcha latte which is definitely my go-to order from now on.

I had an iced matcha latte with oat milk and honey and a traditional croissant. Both were super tasty. If you’re tired of poor quality matcha, please try this place! The croissant was light and flaky and really hit the spot. The seating area is really comfy and cute, and spacious enough for small groups. If you need somewhere to rest and have a snack while shopping downtown, this is the place to go.

Excellent coffee! And specialty lattes are perfect, not too sweet and overloaded, just subtle hints of flavors mixed in with the coffee. Also love the atmosphere, and NO EXTRA CHARGE FOR ALTERNATIVE MILK!?!? Absolutely unheard of, and amazing. Thank you, for many reasons— delicious coffee, no up charge on oat milk, wonderful ambiance, and clean restrooms— always appreciated. Would have taken better pics but I was caught up enjoying the experience!

Super chill and friendly vibes. The coffee tastes great! Not to sugar heavy and just the right amount of flavor/coffee. Defn worth a visit 🤟Tell them Simran sent ya. Not that they know who that is but if they hear it enough may be it catch on 😏

2 suggestions: 1. ask for Alex, he knows everything about coffee and is happy to share as much or as little as you like and 2. Try the espresso tonic or Hibiscus tea. So good in fact I’m considering giving up food and going on a liquid diet to enjoy these all time. Great environment and atmosphere and it’s going to be extra special in spring time as it opens right onto State Street.

The cutest new coffee shop on State Street at the Drift Hotel!! Alex is the man and made me the BEST matcha of my life. Try the Espresso Tonic as well, you won't be disappointed. Loving the new addition to the neighborhood and will def be back as a regular to visit this vibey, cool spot!

As someone with experience in specialty (third wave) coffee, I can confidently say that this was one of the best coffees I’ve ever had. The barista was meticulous and friendly. I cannot possibly imagine that this region has a better coffee shop or barista. A must visit.

The best iced americano on our trip. Cool vibe, the best prices (especially considering the location), good pastry selection from a local bakery. Friendly service, space to work, WiFi, and they don’t charge extra for alternative milk!

Dawn Cafe + Market offers a croissant experience like no other – it's simply irresistible. Pair it with their robust cold brew for a delightful combination. The cafe's charming atmosphere adds to the appeal, and the staff is incredibly welcoming. It's a must-visit spot for anyone seeking a delectable croissant and a fantastic coffee in a friendly setting.

What a delightful little find! We strolled down state street in search of some coffee and breakfast and happened upon this wonderful space. The coffee was incredible and they had delicious croissants. And the folks making the coffee were super friendly and knowledgeable! What we got (over course of 2 days) Espresso tonic, espresso, cortado, matcha latte, pour over, cookie drink with espresso Ham and cheese croissant, chocolate croissant There is seating or you can take the food and drinks to go. It was our fav find in SB!

Nice quiet place to sip coffee on an early Saturday morning. Horchata cold brew not the best, gritty and week tasting. The latte and croissant were good.
