A
nice
motel
about
2
miles
north
of
the
Santa
Barbara
seafront
however
it
is
on
a
busy
intersection.
It
is
made
up
of
several
parts
with
a
central
parking
area
servicing
some
rooms
while
others
have
off
road
parking
outside
the
room
itself.
The
room
was
a
good
size,
clean
and
well
maintained.
We
had
the
accessible
room
which
comes
with
it's
own
disabled
parking
space
in
the
main
car
park
although
we
didn't
need
to
use
it.
The
aircon
worked
a
treat.
We
took
a
walk
down
the
main
road
and
visited
a
bar.
Most
of
the
restaurants
were
closed
or
closing
at
9pm
as
is
common
in
the
US.
The
area
is
nice
and
not
threatening
at
all
despite
being
a
residential
area
as
opposed
to
a
tourist
place.
The
motel
provides
a
self
serve
breakfast
where
we
god
to
learn
how
to
make
waffles
in
waffle
irons.
There
was
also
yoghurts,
cereals,
milk,
pastries
and
coffee
in
abundance.
You
could
really
stock
up
for
the
day
ahead.
As
opposed
to
our
other
stays
in
California
it
seems
that
they
used
concrete
rather
than
just
wood
when
they
built
the
main
part
of
the
motel
so
we
didn't
suffer
from
any
noises
from
the
neighbours
nor
from
above.
