A nice motel about 2 miles north of the Santa Barbara seafront however it is on a busy intersection. It is made up of several parts with a central parking area servicing some rooms while others have off road parking outside the room itself. The room was a good size, clean and well maintained. We had the accessible room which comes with it's own disabled parking space in the main car park although we didn't need to use it. The aircon worked a treat. We took a walk down the main road and visited a bar. Most of the restaurants were closed or closing at 9pm as is common in the US. The area is nice and not threatening at all despite being a residential area as opposed to a tourist place. The motel provides a self serve breakfast where we god to learn how to make waffles in waffle irons. There was also yoghurts, cereals, milk, pastries and coffee in abundance. You could really stock up for the day ahead. As opposed to our other stays in California it seems that they used concrete rather than just wood when they built the main part of the motel so we didn't suffer from any noises from the neighbours nor from above.

Very nice hotel, 10min drive from the center. Room has everything you need. There was enough parking space. Receptionist was also very nice. Stayed here for two nights, would book again. Breakfast was very basic, did like the bagels! For the expensive area, it is a good deal.

we spent three nights there. dirty tiled floor in the bathroom area, dried insects on these floors. we spent three nights there as a family with kid (4y). dirty tiled floor in the bathroom area, dried insects on these floors. something in the bathroom stank of sewage. dark tiny room and the bathroom was a box, practically. 300 dollars per night is too much really in comparison to other inns weβ€˜ve been and seen. at breakfast, we always had to ask for more spoons, orange juice and coffee for no one really paid attention to keep it stocked.

Left a few items in dresser. When I contacted the office was told nothing turned in. Did housekeeping not bother checking the dresser? Shower drain was clogged & backed up during showers. Beds were quit comfortable, able to connect Xbox to TV easily & room was good size. Pool was clean & warm!

Pathetic!! No way a 4 star as it shows!! Its a 2 star property.. rooms are all rundown! So tiny, No space to even open your bags.. As girls, we requested them to give us a room on upper level, but they say, its sold out, clearly its not.. Its absolutely not comfortable for us to stay on ground floor where people are passing by every minute but no cooperation. Don’t go by the rating.. property not worth atall

Rooms are clean and safe to rest for a night. The staffs are very friendly and they offer great professional services. The breakfast they offer was not worthy. That is the only down side of this hotel. Other than that we had a great time. Thanks πŸ™.

The floor was FILTHY. We were there 1 night and in the morning our feet were covered in black muck. See the photo of the cloth we used to check and this was just after 1 wipe. The breakfast was terrible, no juice, limited choice compared to other motels. The only saving grace for this place was the Starbucks opposite. We got a refund. DON’T bother with this place. It’s not worth the cheaper price!!

We got to the reception and got coffee from the reception to start with. The coffee was cold. We entered the super small room and another was the refrigerator hot and disconnected to save energy. There was no microwave to heat our food. Bad service and the room too small, dirty. the entire floor and bathroom the toilet every time I sat down and I got up a noise because the toilet was not properly set for what was paid for the holiday day it was not what we expected, we will not return anymore !!! !

In Santa Barbara, hotel prices tend to be on the higher side, making the affordability of Quality Inn a welcome and appreciated feature. Located approximately two miles up state st away from the beach, this decent motel is situated at a very busy intersection near state and alamar. The property consists of multiple sections, featuring a central parking area that serves some of the rooms, while others offer convenient off-road parking right outside the room. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and well-maintained but yet very old and dingy feeling. he air conditioning in the room functioned perfectly, providing a comfortable stay.

Not worth the money for grad and father days weekend. Small cramped musky humid rooms. Our TV did not work the first night and office manager tried and couldn't get it to work. Someone came the next day and fix it. Breakfast was bare minimum and sad. One light was out. Someone has a dog and kept barking. Report to front office first night and nothing happen . Dog still barked the next day. Parking lot needs to be repaved. Limited parking Front door gaps Bathroom light switch, heated floor switch, outlet and sink light all dangerous and too close to water Light switch dangerous next to sink about an inch and quarter above sink next to facet. Someone can get electrocuted.

Fair price. Get what we need. Breakfast is mainly pastry and cereal. Would like to have some fruits if possible, but no complaints as it is cheaper than other hotels. Front desk always have people to help check in. (And that is the reason why we pick this hotel) Close to bus station.

Was making a 5 hour drive to Santa Barbara after a long trip and the GM Thomas was so friendly and accommodating. Was greeted with a great conversation and a room that was beautiful set up. Really appreciate how much pride the GM and the rest of the staff take in the property and the well being of each guest. This is the kind of hotel you want to stay at when traveling, a place with a ton of character and hard working people. A 10/10 stay.

Like all Santa Barbara hotels, the Quality Inn will seem overpriced, especially on weekends. Rooms are clean, small, basic. Includes A/C which many local hotels lack. Microwave and refrigerator. Wi-Fi seems good. Parking in interior courtyard area is more secure than most. Breakfast is minimal, but Starbucks is across the street.

The staff was nice. Easy check in. The check time was extended 1 hour for us. There's a gas station across street plus the room refrigerator were both a bit noisy. Hot Breakfast was ok. Needed eggs. It was a good overnight stay near downtown.

Stopped here for the night after a long drive. The rooms are on the smaller side, but it met its purpose, plus the beds were super comfy. Nice little breakfast area. Everything was clean and the personnel were kind.

What a great hotel the staff was friendly and hard working. We ended up booking 8 rooms for our wedding which were booked for our family members. Thomas the general manager was absolutely amazing and did everything he could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend the Quality Inn of Santa Barbara, thank you so much for everything.

Loved this hotel, I cannot recall a hotel that when you come inside the room you can smell that is beyond clean, it really impressed me, the room was perfectly clean and they accomodations are great, definitely recommend and if I come back to Santa Barbara I would not hesitate to stay again!

Front desk lady couldn't print me a receipt, not trained, she said. (1) guy doing EVERYTHING. Rooms are neglected with fresh paint, forgot to remove tape. Cold air came in from under the door. When I showed her the pictures and told her she said doesn't your heater work.

Relatively inexpensive place to stay in Santa Barbara that's centrally located, especially if you plan to visit UCSB. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are a little dated, the beds a little hard for my liking, but everything seemed well stocked and clean. Excellent water pressure in the shower! Parking is a little tight for bigger vehicles, but the young gentleman who checked us was so helpful and moved his vehicle to give us the easiest spot in the lot for a large vehicle. What great customer service!
