One of the better parks in Santa Fe. It is connected to the Camino Real Trail (aka River Trail) and has a big parking lot, public restrooms, and has a bus stop right next to it. Once you're there, enjoy the playground, outdoor exercise course, nice paved loop to run/walk on, plenty of benches and picnic tables, public grills, a community garde, a couple outdoor sculptures, and a community building you can rent out from the city. Perhaps the best part about it is there are bunches of prarie dogs that live there. Most locals bring food and feed them while others try to eradicate them. Once I saw a dog jump out of the flat bed of a pickup truck that was stopped at a red light and murder one in the blink of an eye. Never a dull moment around here!

This poor Park is so neglected it's not even funny there's a lot of elderly people that walk their pets there it's dangerous sometimes the weeds are so high someone could be hiding in there and hurt somebody it has so much potential seriously what is our mayor doing about all these weeds

I love walking the trails in the evening. The lights becoming brighter as I would walk through the park are a welcome feature as it helps me see better. Rarely do I run into anyone else walking the trails after dark which is also nice. The one thing that was very strange was a woman dressed in a black cloak with the cowl pulled down went walking past me. I had heard her and a male voice speaking in hushed tones for a few minutes while I was resting on the bench conveniently located right on the other side of the foot bridge over the arroyo from the park. I never saw him which made me nervous wondering why they were hiding in the bushes. Stranger still was her attire. Other than that one evening though, it was generally everything I wanted in a quiet yet brisk evening walk without being bothered by my Santa Fe gang stalkers.

I guess they rerouted the prairie dogs, they won't kill you,so that's good. I like it because you can cross the bridge to a bike trail going to town, that's what makes it one of the better parks in Santa Fe,that was a good idea, whoever thought of it.

The walk from Frenchy's Field along the Camino Real/ river walk is charming and beautiful, and a favorite respite for my wife and I to walk our dog and enjoy the beauty of Santa Fe nightly. The paved trail is great for hiking but recommend to throw on some hiking shoes and walk the single track paths on either side of the river bed. Beautiful and well-maintained!

Great park with a trail around and access the a bigger biking and walking trail along the river. The kids like the playground. I think you can reserve the building on site for an event, never done it but I'm pretty sure its an option.

Good play area for the little kids, picnic tables and trash cans to use, free baggies for cleaning up dog droppings, and a good walking path of 1/3 mile loop, so 3 laps make a mile and it's easy to keep track of the distance walked.

This is a nice park except it appears the City of Santa Fe has let it completely be overtaken with noxious weeds. This is really quite unacceptable and taints the experience of a desert walk. It is astounding how many weeds there are and sadly, all the native plants are being taken over.

Nice walking trail. My kiddo really enjoyed the play ground equipment. The park needs some upkeep and TLC. But it's better then others.

This is a great park for nature lovers and those looking for a place to relax. It also is a good place for birders, particularly when combined with the El Camino Real Hiking Trail which follows the Santa Fe River.

There happens to be water in the river!!! What a delight. You do need to be aware that there are bicyclists and dogs on leashes but for the most part everyone shares the trail which is clean, wide and paved.

It was very clean and the people were pleasant. It had a great play area and adequate seating for parents watching their little ones. We took our doggo and everyone had a great time!

👍👍 Very nice. Wish they had more samples, and more things for kids, but there were several booths. There was a great eatery area with places to sit indoors. Very true to New Mexico. Street performers added to the charm. Didn't see any port-a-potties or public restrooms.
