Absolutely amazing. I cannot believe it was free entry. Beautiful sculptures. Each floor has its charm and the more you go up, the better it gets. If you are into art, you will not be disappointed. I guess if you’re not into art, you can definitely enjoy. Beautiful building in the outside and clever layout on the inside. Super recommended. Very accessible for prams and wheelchairs. You must be fit to push all the way up or be patient as it’s a mini workout. The bathroom itself it’s stunning. You can’t bring drink or food, but they have concierge system and it’s also fee of charge.

The Museo Soumaya is a truly unique and impressive experience. Here's a breakdown of my thoughts: What stood out: * Architecture: The building itself is a masterpiece. Its shimmering, hexagonal exterior is a stunning sight, and the interior is equally impressive with its dramatic spiral ramp and modern design. * Collection: While the collection is vast, it's incredibly diverse, spanning centuries and featuring works from renowned artists like Rodin, Dalí, and Mexican masters. * Free Admission: The fact that admission is free makes it an incredibly accessible cultural experience for everyone. Things to consider: * Crowds: The museum can get very crowded, especially on weekends. Be prepared for potential wait times and limited space to view some exhibits. * Ramp: While the ramp is architecturally striking, it can be quite tiring to navigate, especially for those with mobility limitations. Overall: The Museo Soumaya is a must-visit for art lovers and anyone interested in experiencing a unique and architecturally significant museum. Despite some minor drawbacks, it's a truly impressive and rewarding experience.

Museum entry is free so it was pretty crowded. We visited during a Saturday. Multi-variate collection from across a wide range of topics. Many original paintings and sculptures and few replicas as well. A great way to learn about art, culture and history. Also has a food court in the lower floors in case you are tired of walking around. From a tourist perspective, great location. Close to a but station, right next to the mall and ample number of street food vendors right outside.

Incredible architecture inside and out. Best to go here early closer to opening to be away from crowds. We got here around 1030am and it was pretty empty still. The 5th floor is the best with a large collection of Rodin sculptures. Main floor open space was beautiful with many Roman recreations. It’s in the middle of downtown so there isn’t too much to explore otherwise except many many shops.

There is so much to see! It would take you all day if you actually saw everything in detail. I believe it is 6 floors and every floor is from a different time period. Free entrance. The outside is full of tourist and street vendors. This is a must see, if you enjoy touring museums.

Mexico trip, Mexico City - The museum’s collection is truly impressive, especially its remarkable display of Impressionist works. To fully appreciate everything it has to offer, I would recommend splitting your visit into two sessions. Trying to see the entire collection in one visit can feel overwhelming and a bit tiring, but taking your time allows you to enjoy the experience more thoroughly.

My visit to the Museo Soumaya was incredible! The architecture is a true masterpiece, with its unique shape and stunning design. The sixth floor, with its mesmerizing roof and smooth curves connecting each level, was definitely my favorite part. On top of that, the museum houses over 60,000 artworks, making it an absolute treasure trove of culture and history. What really impressed me was that the museum is free to visit, which makes it even more amazing. Plus, the facilities, especially the restrooms, were top-notch. It was an all-around spectacular experience, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mexico City!
