This
was
an
amazing
surprise!
It
is
dealing
with
a
culture
that
I
had
never
heard
of
before,
and
I'm
fairly
well
read
in
Central
American
ancient
cultures.
This
one
was
excavated
maybe
a
hundred
years
ago
or
further
back
by
Germans,
and
the
great
grandfather
I
believe
of
the
current
owner
of
the
land
made
copies
of
the
really
good
pieces
that
the
Germans
took
back
to
Germany
unfortunately.
The
museum
was
built
by
the
family
and
is
run
by
the
family
and
gets
no
state
support
as
far
as
I
can
tell.
Our
tour
was
led
by
Luisa,
The
great
great
granddaughter
of
the
original
founder.
She
and
her
father
run
the
farm
that
is
on
the
land,
and
take
care
of
the
museum
as
well.
It
is
incredibly
informative,
very
interesting,
and
especially
useful
if
you're
looking
to
learn
more
about
the
different
cultures
of
ancient
America
if
you
will,
and
how
they
interacted
with
trade
and
war.
Just
a
fascinating
place.
Highly
highly
recommended!
