Very pretty church and I have always been able to find parking right in front easily when Mass is not going on. There is also a market across the street that has typical Guatemalan crafts as well as wooden kitchenwares and locally made sweets.

Beautiful peaceful place, and the food on the restorants around it is the best in Antigua Guatemala

San Felipe de Jesús is a very different church and design then all other Churches you will find in Guatemala. More of a Gothic design. San Felipe de Jesús is for the most part a part of Antigua. You can take the 20 minute walk from Antigua to San Felipe de Jesús. A safe and pretty walk. San Felipe de Jesús while the church is the main point of interest for Travelers the food is considered the very best Tipico food in all of Guatemala. On weekends the cars are parked for miles. Just past the church on the main road half a block is a Jade Factory no sign, just a Black door. Knock, if you are looking for real Jade this is the place.

It is a beautiful sanctuary, the Eucharistic celebrations are very solemn and full of sanity in the Catholic faith.

It's a nice Catholic church, gothic style, local sweet shops all around it and some street food at certain hours of the day.

Very clean and organized place for tourists and visitors. I eat with the street vendors Very delicious local food.
