    In the center of this city now realing from the affects of Fuego's fury, is a lovely colonial park complete with fountain and church. I found it a pleasant stop in our travels. A market for traditional textiles is nearby too.

    Super friendly town and when the Artisan market is open, so many beautiful things to see and buy. Great little coffee shop right across from the park too that is a MUST!

    Visit the Artisan Market in the central park for some of the best weavings at better prices than the bigger cities. They are known here for finishing both sides of the textiles so there are no unfinished sides with loose threads

    Nice little town outside of Antigua with a small mercado artesenias. Guipeles from San Antonio are highly rated because the design is on both sides.
