    I wanted to buy a phone and SIM card but had to wait for 30min while the ‚Virgin Mobile‘ representative unboxed my new phone and did whatever with my passport. Dodgy process.

    The Walmart of Colombia. It is a nice department store with grocery offerings. You can find almost everything you need here, from food to electronics.

    This outlet of Exito lives up to the brand standards. The place itself is quite large. They are usually well stocked in all departments . They have a good collection of clothes and shoes. They also have a good line-up of domestic appliances. I've almost always found what I was looking for

    We bought two sim cards for our US phones. It was an interesting experience as we have no Spanish and they spoke no English. They were still very helpful/patient and got us set up with Colombian phone service.

    A great supermarket inside a big shopping mall in Santa Marta. Great for finding all.your groceries and clothing, shoes, electronics, cafeteria and much more. It has some specialty shops inside, like Payless shoes.
