Beautiful place, beautiful beaches, not so crowded, theres option for camping or just going for one day,ñ. Prices on food are quite high so bring your own food and drinks, night is wonderful. Bit cold. All the beaches are clean, the walk from the entrance is not so long as maybe quoted in other reviews. Definitely try the sandwiches on the way to Cabo.

DO NOT STAY AT CASTILLETES - we had our money stolen from a private, locked room. We weren’t the only people who had been robbed. Avoid!!

Beautiful beaches and great walks in the forest with some wildlife (we saw monkeys and varans) However, for the price you pay its poorly maintained. Some bridges look like they will collapse soon and some rivers to cross not even have bridges. Furthermore it looks like it becomes just a crowded turisty beach like every other. There are speedboats approaching from Taganga so you see turists walking around with cooling boxes and drinking beer the whole day... Definitely not what you expect from a national natural park.

A natural reserve to escape noise, parties, nightlife, etc. And to walk, watch free wildlife (monkeys, crabs, fish, mammals, ants, butterflies, etc), sweat and swim in a nice thin sand beaches A place to Find yourself, leave bad things and reborn. Enter the humid Forrest and walk for hours into this hidden gem. While secrets and surprises appear. Do the 9 stones walk path before going to the beaches. The challenge yourself to reach Cabo San Juan and after that the nudist beach! Great for camping and hamacas night sleep. Some fancy accommodation is also available for VIP customers. Drinks and food are found in the selected spots and beaches some support credit/debit card (the very expensive restaurants).

Good things first: The park and its nature is unique and absolutely amazing. It is clean and seems widely untouched. Negatives: 1. foreigners pay 400% of the entry fee price for locals (max.180% would be fair) 2. The prices for foreigners increased by 25% within 4 months and none of the staff could explain why. I visited various nature parks in Colombia. None was this expensive. 3. The entry fee cannot be paid by card, cash only! Its not that they dont have a machine, but they only use it for the camping fees. How does this make sense? They should inform visitors in advance on their website. 6. The map you get at the entrance is absolutely rediculous. The hiking routes are NOT well signedposted. Time/distance to destination would have been helpful. You can easily end up going the wrong route. 7. On the map the exit Calabazo, which I was aiming for, looked very close to El Cabo San Juan del Guia, but on site they told me it would be another 6 hours hike and that I would have to go back to Zaino inorder to exit the park (3 hours hike). But remeber hiking is forbidden after 5 pm. So I had no other option than to race back a 3h hike in 1h. I'm not saying I didn't enjoy my fast hike, but you can imagine that it was very exhausting by 35°C and that I would have preferred to have time to appreciate the unique nature.

check the park information seriously because people come here for the beach and not that much for the nature. I used the main entrance in the east. beautiful nature with secure wooden walkways for maybe 30-60 minutes. from there its only sandy beach and mangroves for one more our to the beaches. I heard there's another entrance some kilometres west but not well maintained. for myself the park was neither what I expected nor what I paid for. if you like to walk for 2 hours in the hot and humid jungle (and 2 hours back for sure) to enjoy a beach it's perfect for you - I won't combine it.

More on the touristy side. Busy. About 7km until you see something other than a pavement road. Clear green swimming water and some internet rock formations

Amazing park with the most beautiful beaches. Will be crowded. Don’t expect a secluded beach or even hike. Be aware of seasonal closures

Tayrona park is a grait experience. The landscape is beautiful. You have to walk through the forest about 2,5 hours to get to the beaches but is worth the effort, there are three beaches, arrecife, la piscina y cabo san juan (the furthest) where you can camp. The road is full of trees so sun is not a big deal, if you are lucky you monkeys can be at your path.

Amazing natural park, where the jungle meets the beach. It was an unbelievable experience. Beware that there is a lot of walking to do and that depending on the season there may be a lot of mud. But it is all worth it!!!

One of the best experiences we had. You HAVE to stay overnight to enjoy it, otherwise it feels a bit overcrowded

Great park to spend three days exploring all of its beaches. I like the fact they are controlling and checking documents of everybody entering the park. As for the camping sites, there are good options and very very basic ones, like so basic that you need to shower with a bucket. The park itself is clean, I didn't see trash in it, even in the most touristic place (San Juan).

We did a 1-day trip from the Calebazo entrance. No que at that entry of the park. The first part of the hike was the hardest: uphill with hot, humid climate. After that there is a small path that goes through the jungle to the beaches. You can encounter a lot of animals, so be prepared for that. We saw sloths, howling monkeys and snakes. After that we hiked next to all the beaches to the Zaino entrance. The views of the beaches are stunning, though the beaches can be a bit crowded. A 1-day hike was nice, but a bit rushed and hard. The park was just absolutely stunning in all parts of the hike.
