Excellent motel. Small but delightful. Personalized service by staff. Very clean and comfortable room. The bed was perfect. It’s a fraction of the price compared to the surrounding hotels. Highly recommend !

Wonderful place! The owner and staff are very accommodating. Clean, quiet and relaxing!! The courtyard and quaint pool are the perfect place to chill. I keep coming back from Cartagena Manga because it's my "get-away" place. Come visit, you will be back!!

I booked this place because I was scuba diving in taganga and unless you're a dirty Backpacker taganga is no place for you to stay. This hotel was like an oasis in the middle of the confusion of historic Santa Marta. I very much enjoyed my stay. The rooms are set up to be super convenient there are all kinds of of closet areas and places to put suitcases and places to hang clothes which is very uncommon in Colombia. Air conditioning works great although they do like you to turn it off when you leave it does cool the air down quickly when you return. There's an incredible common area which is really why I booked the place because after a day of scuba diving I wanted to come back and relax and I don't want to have to go out. There's a wonderful area to sit back and relax with shade and a pool and a variety of chairs... plus there's coffee available all day long. There's also a cooler you can buy drinks and snacks right on the grounds. You're just a five-minute walk from the various little parks in historic Santa Marta. I definitely would never book another place after I stayed here. One last note the breakfast is decent and it will get you started for the day.

Great location. Very helpful staff. Very good breakfast included with choice of bread, jam, fruit, cereal, drink. There was a problem with the ac in the room and they promptly gave me a new room.

After we had reservation, they gave our room to other guests and instead of giving us another room, they tried to negotiate about a higher price for a room of less comfort. There are better and cheaper options quite close.

The hotel has a warm and authentic atmosphere! Cute traditional decorations and plants make you feel welcome. You really feel like in Carribean. A lot of cosy spaces where you can just read a book and relax or drink a bottle of beer. The room has all you need - conditioner, fridge, TV. I loved a shelf of books in the common area! Also, I had to do some papers for and did not have pc with me, but it was not a problem - in the hotel they have a computer that saved my life! You can always buy some cold drinks there if you are too lazy to go to the shop. Price is the same. Breakfast is simple and delicious. Very important thing - I got horribly sick one evening. The hotel has 24h Medical assistance and called to doctors who took care of me. The hotel itself and area around is well secured. Very close to the sea and other popular places. The staff is friendly and helpful all the time. Jorge and Javier helped us arrange great transport deal to bahia concha and the airport. Thank you for everything!

Everything is really old like in a castle. The breakfast was really good. The pool is too small for swimming but the water stream is a nice massage. There was loud music until 1am. The room is not isolated at all. If a colleague wants to visit you in the hotel, he must pay 50 kCOP entrance fee. That's quite a rip-off.

This hotels has multiple rooms located around an inside courtyard. Rooms are basics, but come with private bathrooms and AC. The hotel also feature a pool, a good breakfast and a water filter machine (we avoided buying a lot of bottle water). Finally, prices are very affordable. Employees were very welcoming, and the place in general has a very unique and charming vibe. Not everything is perfect : the location is close to downtown and safe during the day, but locals told us that north of Calle 14 is not the safest when the sun is down (we personally had no problem, even very late). Finally, there was a bar close by with some music, but it wasn’t really that much of an issue. It is yours to judge about the upside and downside. We personally got a really great and memorable stay.

I stayed at Nueva Granada in Santa Marta and I was amazed by their exceptional service and the refreshing pool they offered. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction throughout my stay. The pool was a delightful oasis, providing the perfect escape from the city heat. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Santa Marta for an unforgettable experience.
