The location is good and views of the Caribbean are amazing. Very close to the airport so noisy at times. The restaurant at the facility has a very good breakfast buffet, but DO NOT eat any other meals there. We ordered off the menu for dinner and the food was atrocious. Portions were small, rice was crunchy, chicken was burned, drinks were small, service was terrible and the waitress was extremely rude. Spent over an hour waiting for the food as well and overpriced. Very disappointing and uncharacteristic for Colombia.

Installations and rooms are fine but in summary it is not a 4 stars hotel. Staff has a noticeable deficiency of customer service, I got woken up only to verify that 2 people were in the room, issues in reception with the reserve and staff is not trained to handle it. Restaurant attention is also poor. Taxi service is monopolized by 2-5 drivers that are called by the hotel and is expensive (hotel is far from city and city beaches and the hotel beach is not great), restaurant had a poor menu . My mother's room was not ready to check in at 5pm, supposed to be ready at 2, cleaning was so bad that room was smelly and guest bathroom was not cleaned. Overall pick another hotel.

You can find better hotels. this one had constant construction outside of the room each day and they were dropping paint on the patios. The sliding glass door had a broken lock. The restaurant is small and there was a line to get in for breakfast. None of the staff, including the restaurant and even the front desk, speak English, it is also fairly isolated, without easy access to the main city and port for trips. The pool is nice but there are a lot of kids and the hotel markets that aspect. They also have a terrible reservation system for the hot tub. They don't tell you about it when you check in, and then people keep walking up to ask you to share even though you have the reservation. Better to just make it open-access.

The food in the little restaurant has been so delicious and amazing each night we come here. The staff is so friendly and very helpful. The best things to get to eat in my opinion was the Hawaiian pizza, hot dog with French fries and the patacone. Arturo waiter has been so nice to us each night and made it honestly such a pleasure to come. We stayed in the hotel and it's a very spacious and beautiful hotel room. The pools are kid friendly as well as adult only area with a small bar that has shade, Jacuzzis and also has a beach right outside of the pool with a bathing shower area.

The Hotel is far from the city and for sure you'll get broken paying taxis of 20K-40K (Santa Marta doesn't have Uber, Didi, Beat etc). The Hotel is little but has a super potential. We were booked on a superior room that is super close to be a mini apartment of 60 m² and even has a full size refrigerator. The beds are ok, can be better. The TVs are old and I had a hard time connecting my Fire Tv Stick. The food can be improved because doesn't have much variety. I had twice problems with food BUT the staff is super friendly and attentive to the request and to the feedback. Really this makes this place lovely, because even though things can happen they really put heart into things to improve the service. The beach is public but feels like a private one because the hotel provides private spaces with Hotel seats on it. The sea is great and is secure. I wish a Gym is here because is the only thing lacking off. A shuttle from Airport and to city should exist!!!

I will give 0 star to this hotel, I travel around the world and by far this is the worst hotel I ever been, staff is very rude and the worse part is that me and my sister got food poisoning, we got really sick and the paramedics never arrived. Please be careful with the food here

Cannot beat the price with a very nice pool area. About a 30 minute ride to downtown. Most of the staff was awesome...

The hotel is fine for the price. Rooms are a little outdated but there is plenty of space. The junior suite for instance has two full bathrooms, great for families! The kid pool is great for kids. The big pool is great for adults, you can even play volleyball!

It's a beautiful place to stay in, people is kind and lovely, the services is great and instalations are wonderful. It's located near to the airport but a little far from the town however they have taxi services so you can visit a lot of places also at the hotel you can schedule guide tours to Tayrona National Park, Rodadero beach and others. You will not regreat!

Excelent place, the view and amenities were amazing

They charged me a deposit (for a pay later reservation!) of three times the amount of the reservation. 4 days later I still don't have my money back.

It's a pretty good hotel, but too far away from the Santa Marta Downtown, and the place in the night could be dangerous.

The hotel is a hotel far from other hotels it is perfect for people who just want to kick back and relax. The staff is very professional and will always serve you with a smile. The pool is huge for adults and a huge one for kids. They have thier own private beach, 24 hr security . Overall this hotel is a 4 star hotel i am definitely returning to this hotel

Great amenities but the breakfast could be improved.

The accommodation and facilites are good value for money. The staff was friendly and accommodating however most didn't speak a word of English so the check in and check out were a bit complicated. Location is perfect if you need to catch an early flight as I did. Was very disappointed by the restaurant which is why I only give the hotel a 3 star rating. I ordered a prawn cocktail which came in pretty warm and a cazuela de mariscos which consisted mostly of crab sticks. For 70.000 COP it simply not good enough. Don't put bloody crab stick in a seafood dish when you are litterally meters from the sea. My advice if you want to order food order something really simple like arepas or pollo, don't order any seafood as they don't know how to cook it.

I love the hotel, very clean and beautiful. I love the pool cause my daugther had lots of fun. I would give it a 5, however the customer service of the resturant was not so nice. I will still go back because of the hotel and it's location. I highly recommend the private beach and it's restaurants around the hotel, the food is great!

The setting is ok and the staff nice, but the hotel is right next to the landing path for the airport and right next to the coal cargo train track. Another thing worth noting is that the whole place (except the entrance lobby), from the unmarked and badly presented access road through to the general condition of the pool area and surrounding instillations. CONCLUSION: A good experience, but marred by the maintenance issues.
