Price is ridiculously high!!!! we paid (couple) 36$US To us park in general wasn't so impressive. We traveling all around Columbia and other parks were more interesting. If you charge so much money bring it to high standard!!! Give a maps, put signs everywhere with beaches names, maintain paths, clean piles of trash under the trees, put trash cans...

This is a review for the Park Entrance not for the park itself which I consider to be one of the more beautiful locations I've had the pleasure to visit in my lifetime. Sadly I felt the park entrance was slightly understaffed and the waiting times did cause upset with my brother as he's nervous in big crowds. The queue was 1.30 minutes. Just writing to make people aware that they should arrive nice and early (we got there at 9) to make sure you get in quickly. The staff where all kind and helpful.

The natural environment is stunning but it feels a bit like a funfair. Every 200 metres a kiosk for ice cream and candy. Lots...and I mean LOTS of people walking the same path...you are carried across the jungle like cattle. Then you come to the beaches, and they are really, really beautiful, incredibly beautiful...but, again, you have a program and you need to stick to it. Like a tourist standing next to me said, this is more of a military march than a day of chill and relaxation. Small warning, the walk is a little demanding...some people had trouble going up and down.

The park is nice, but the entrance is horrible! Everything’s so unorganized, they force you to buy an insurance plan, and the police look through your bag more throughly than airport security. He even opened my wallet! Also the price you pay to get in is ridiculous. By the end of it, the cheapest way to visit is still a minimum of around $20! Abosolutly ridiculous

Tayrona Park in Colombia is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. It's a nature lover's paradise, with stunning beaches, lush rainforests, and diverse wildlife. A must-visit for anyone traveling to Colombia. It's a truly unique place where you can experience the country's natural beauty at its best.

Beautiful national park with great views. It was a great full-day activity. We made sure to be there early, around 8.30, which was early enough to avoid long queues. To make the whole walk til the end and then back, was estimated to be 18km.

Great experience of this jungle overall. Entrance fees are rather high (65K), the trail is rather muddy and dirty, I recommend bringing waterproof shoes (or the ones you don’t care about getting wet) as there are two rivers to be crossed. Lots of beaches, you can’t swim in all of them though. No trash cans in the jungle, also you should bring enough water (though there are places you can buy some in between, as well as few restaurants). Plan a full day and get there early (before 8 am I would recommend).

The Tayrona Natural Reserve Park is one of the most beautiful touristic places in the Caribbean Colombian Coast. There are multiple beaches to visit with different activities to do and different sports to practice.

Nice and beautiful park, little bit expensive to just walk around, we had a beautiful day! Lots of people at the entrance, best to be there as early as possible, we waited for 1 hour. Also dont throw away your receipt, they made us go back for it.

Oh my gosh what a fantastic place we highly recommend a visit here if you can an a hike or horseback ride up to Cabo San Juan in Tayrona National Park... The pictures that I have do not do Cabo San Juan justice! Absolutely breathtaking. We felt like crying while we were there so beautiful.

About a 2 hour hike to the last beach. Worth it just for the Ceviche! You can also take horses instead of the hike, but the hike takes you higher on along the coastal path.

Overpriced for foreigners. The experience is a 2 hour walking queue (not a hike), which ends up at an extremely busy beach. Mistreatment of horses, of which ruin the hiking path and make it very difficult for hiking. The setting is beautiful, but I would not recommend the visit.

Beautiful place. Very good place to get a bit of walking and swimming time. Unfortunately I didn't get early enough to the exit, but I meet nice lady who gave me lift to the exit which was very far for walking.

Prices in tayrona keep going up for foreigners (close to 80k including mandatory insurance in June 2023). Given that El Pueblito is now closed and the only path that's well signposted is between the entrance and cabo San Juan, i would only consider it for a day trip on my next visit. Minca has excellent hiking without a national park fee. The piscina beach is a beauty though and I'm glad I saw it.

This place is most assuredly a do not miss. Two beautiful beaches, horseback riding, and well stationed drink stops make this a great place to go. Pay the 5,000 pesos to get yourself driven to and from the trailhead. Don't cheap out. The walk is not worth it...

This was a beyond amazing experience! Really inexpensive compared to the value of the experience. A 3 mile trek through the jungle (there are boardwalks) lead to breathtaking beaches with pristine azure, aqua, crystal clear water. There is plenty to see here. Recommend stay over, camping or at the hotels, for at least 3 days to truly experience this hidden gem.

This is the main entrance of the Tayrona, the infrastructure is well built to handle a big amount of people entering the park. However if you want to avoid tourists I recommend you to enter the park from the Calabazo entrance and leave from Zaino. This is a better option if you are planning to spend more days in Tayrona.

A very enjoyable experience to walk through this beautiful park where you have access to awesome beaches and if lucky might spot some monekys and rare birds! The facilities and toilets need to be improved and more accessible though.

Beautiful National Park. Good walkways and plenty of refreshing stations along the way to buy cold drinks.

One of the best National parks I visited, it’s a 2-hours walk to Cabo San Juan, but the view you get is amazing and the beach is so sandy, however the waves are too high.

Amazing park with a lot of nature and beautiful places, you can pay 1USD to get to the beginning of the hiking.

Tayrona park is a nicely managed park with camping hiking hammocks horseback riding. It has beautiful views and really gives you a rainforest feel if you wake up early and wander around the more secluded areas. Personally I dont feel its an expensive place for all it has to offer. Tourists like myself are charged a bit more but its worth it.

Long trekking and long quees, tracks could be better maintained, there are few loose woods. All in all worth a visit.

That climb is not for everyone, definitely not for me 🤣. If you want to go, make sure u use plenty of sunscreen and mosquito repellent, use long pants like joggers and comfy sneakers. It is a 2h climb so bring some food too and lots of water. Enjoy the walk!

So beautiful nature .. little bit expensive you can enjoy 2 or 3 days if you are in good condition and you can hike to the top .. if you are like me .. 😁 so just enjoy the camping part .. for one or 2 days maximum stuff are so kind i love everything there except that the electricity was disappear many times a day 🙄 so you can't have even the poor ventilator ..
