Very basic with few restaurant services, it is cool, good bathroom services. It has air conditioning, you can take a taxi or public service bus.

Although it is not the most beautiful of beaches, it is a very comfortable, close and quiet place. You can see the planes landing and taking off, which is a very interesting experience.

The Paradisiacal City of Santa Marta welcomes its visitors with the majestic and vibrant embrace of its warm, blue waters of the Caribbean Sea. Right outside the Airport you can enjoy kilometers of soft sandy beaches. The best welcome in the Pearl of the Caribbean.

I was traveling and upon arriving at the airport and before entering its facilities, I was caught by the sunset that could be seen from the beach that is on one side of the place. I took a few minutes to admire this spectacle and capture some images there. People who stop by to take their flights generally miss this moment but for me they were definitely the best spent minutes before leaving Samaria. I leave some captures so you can appreciate the sun ☀️ and its reflection in the sea and the rocks on the beach.

It is a good place to visit. It is not as wide as the other large beaches in the area, but it is pleasant, there you can carry everything you need to do the typical Colombian pot and grill walk, it is full of a lot of shade because there are trees that protect you from the sun, The waters are calm, and there are no vendors and people harassing you, offering you goods or services. Chairs and tents can be rented at very good prices. The tent is not so necessary if you find a shady place. During the week there is a very light crowd. On weekends it is more visited. But there is always a very good atmosphere.

The airport, despite being small, fully fulfills its own functions.

The sunsets in this place are Magical, they surprise every tourist whose landing is between 4:30 and 6pm, it has a cobblestone ridge that facilitates a spectacular walk, adorned with nature, an orange sky that is reflected on the Caribbean Sea and a soft breeze that makes the weather perfect!

A very nice beach but it is not highly recommended to go into the sea since it is very strong, to watch the sunset and hang out it is highly recommended

It was super congested. But we left at a good time with the flight.

Agua cálida y de oleaje medio.. No hay tantos vendedores ni gente... Es la mejor sala de espera que he conocido... Puedes entregar tus maletas en la aerolínea e ir a pasar tu tiempo de espera... Venden comidita tradicional... Es super tranquilo.. Es muy acogedor... Puedes ver el atardecer y tomas buenas fotos,
