After our most recent experience we are now Red Roof Inn loyal customers. Returning from a trip from GA about halfway, we ran into a severe storm. My wife, myself, and our dog pulled into the hotel, hoping for a vacancy. Not only could they accommodate us, but they welcomed our dog. I didn't expect the rooms to be too nice, allowing pets and all, but I was wrong. Nice, nice, nice! Comfortable beds, large TV, free breakfast etc, and a knowledgeable and friendly staff. We will now make it a routine stop to and from GA.

Conveniently located off of interstate 10. Easy to make a reservation and the staff was very friendly making check-in a breeze. The hotel itself is well maintained and quiet even though it was near the interstate. The parking lot had enough lot to make me feel safe while walking my dogs in the evening. While this is a pet friendly establishment, other guest can be lazy in caring for said pets to no fault of the staff. The A/C was very cold and the shower was hot. I was able to utilize the WIFI and get some work done before bed. Breakfast is offered and was appreciated. I will stay here again as I travel often and do business in this area.

Last week this happened a Red Roof Inn, in Pensacola Beach-Milton. FL. I had a terrible experience, and I am requesting a refund. The front staff was fine and had no problems. When I accessed the room, we had some dirty towels and requested new ones. They told us that we would need to bring them to the front desk for proof to exchange for clean ones. We did as ridiculous as it was, we complied. Maybe they were too busy to deliver, like every other hotel in America, I will give the benefit of the doubt to them on this one. We arrived back at the hotel about 10pm, took a shower and went to bed about 1030pm. After pulling back the sheets, the bed was full of sand and had obvious hair strands and obviously were not changed since the last renter. That was disgusting. Since we already had poor customer service earlier with the towels, I decided not to try again, and we moved into the other bed. We found the same situation. Could not believe it. We got dressed and slept on top of the sheets as much as we could. Not the best start to a short getaway trip. I would like a refund of the full amount applied to my card on file please. I believe that this is a prudent request for such a situation. I notified the front desk at checkout and they said that they were sorry. I have emailed the general manager twice and have not heard anything.

Stayed here with 9 people. We loved our stay! Outside pool was nice, outside smoke area with seats in viewable distance from the pool. Grills provided. Rooms clean, bug free! Free breakfast. Also have a wafflehouse in the parking lot. Washers and dryers on site. Staff was the best ever. They told us all the fun places to go with kids. Always smiled at us and treated us kindly. Thank you Kimberly and Casey for being awesome!!!! We would come back again.

Cons: When we 1st arrived we were booked on the 2nd floor and at first appearance the room looked good. However there were roaches (both big and baby ones) so we asked the front desk if we could move in a different room. Front desk lady was very helpful and she let us move. The 2nd room had bed bugs. Worse then roaches. By that alone I would not recommend staying here. (No fault to the staff I just think it's too old of a building and needs some good fumigation) Pros: Conveniently located right off the fwy. Pets stay free. Breakfast ends at 10am and they offer Cereal/milk, bagels, English muffins, packaged pastries, yogurt, orange/apple juice (from machines) , fresh fruit oranges/apples. The lady that attends to the breakfast area was always on it. Always restocking and keeping everything clean. The whole staff is friendly. Pool was clean. Parking lot is big and doesn't look sketchy. Located right next door to a waffle house. Rooms are big (we got a 2 queen room) Restroom was also clean. Nice shower good water pressure.

This place is a scam! My family stayed here one night. After checking out I noticed a $200.00 charge to my credit card. When I called to inquire about the charge the front desk lady said it was because someone smoked in the room. This is absurd to say the least, no one in my family smokes! The lady said there was an ash on the window sill. I did open the window to air out the room and get some fresh air as the room had an odor when we checked in. I will also report to the BBB and any other consumer fraud agencies.

Very friendly Staff. Traveling with pets can be challenging, and many hotels that permit pets can still make it awkward, expensive and inconvenient. Our quick stay with our dog was great!

It was gross. I don’t know about the other floors but we were in a room on the 3rd floor and the entire floor smelled like sewage. Also the bathroom was not clean. The caulk around the toilet was practically black and there were literally piles of dirt in the corners of the bathroom. They clearly don’t deep clean the rooms. For $120 a night it was NOT worth it. I’ve stayed places almost 1/2 that price that were MUCH nicer.

I have never in my life paid so much for a hotel that did not have made service. I was asked to bring down any used towels to get more and to bag up my trash when I left. The bed creaked so bad I thought the frame was going to break. I was told that the red roof inn was a decent pet friendly hotel but for my first experience I was very disappointed. I've had better service at a motel 8. There breakfast was a joke too. Makes more sense to get rid of that option all together because there is a waffle house next door. If you are able to stay somewhere else then I highly suggest you do so. I don't have very high standards but I did expect basic accommodations. Also, the halls were nasty. Bags of trash laying out. The laundry room door wide open with things falling out.

Great front desk staff. Visited 03/17/2023. Clean rooms, Quiet location right off the interstate and next door to a waffle house. But their breakfast was fantastic, didn't need to eat at WH!

On our vacation we stop here for one night and Thank God it was only one night. Where do I start the minute we walk in room #26 there was a pottle of water on the floor had to used a towel to clean the water and left it there. Second, telephone was not working to call the front desk. Second, the toilet was all clog up had to wait until the morning we used a plunger and that did not help at all so we had to leave the mess right there until we left in the morning. Third, the shower was clog up and we had to take a shower on pottle of water. Fourth, the mattress I could hear and felt the springs which mean that it need to be replaced. I understand that it is an old building, but I think they can do better. Being military I can say that we will skip this location on the way back. There are other place with same name with better expectation keep looking.

This was the worst stay. We were told we had to clean our own rooms and change our own bedding… this was for a room that cost over $100 a night. There were so many things wrong with our room, but I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves and I’ll leave it at that.

Diamond in the rough! Very clean and well kept both inside and out from the lobby to the pool. Desk and housekeeping staff very friendly. Location was great for me, a 15 - 20 minute ride from pretty much everywhere I wanted to go. Beach, UWF, Nightlife. I will definitely stay again.

Red Roof Inn is just fine as a quick stop to rest overnight. The clerks at the desk were so polite and even “talked” to our dog. The room was clean and the hotel was clean as well.

Had to change rooms due to small ants but they just moved us to the room next door and they were there also. Didn't bother asking to move again as it seemed futile. Rooms and building need updating. The manager is not professional and I'm surprised she is still in the same position. Would not recommend staying here. There aren't any good motels in Milton so it is best to go to Pensacola to stay overnight. But don't go to the Red Roof on Plantation Rd. off of Davis Hwy. either. It is strange to have two locations so close to each other both have horrible managers and old outdated buildings/rooms. I don't expect a 5 star motel at a 3 star price but I do expect a professional attitude from management and acceptable customer service wherever I choose to spend money.

We have been staying here almost 8 years the price was always decent and the place was well kept nice and clean. Well we didn’t come last year so we gave it a try again this year. Biggest regret ever the place is so rundown right when you walk in it’s so dirty. The mat for the tub has mold. The laundry room is so dirty and they don’t empty out the trash from the halls I checked in at 11 and it’s still sitting there at 6:30 pm. Customer service sucks just save your money and find a better location $155-175 a night is definitely not worth it. I’ll continue to put daily my reviews we’re stuck here for 3 days. They don’t go in and clean the rooms while you stay there because of “covid”. Terrible experience we won’t be returning

The price was great! The service was great and everyone was friendly. The only thing is while eating dinner in our room 2 roaches crawled, on the wall and on the floor around us. 😬 I hate roaches as I am sure everyone does. Please get this entire building treated as no one wants to bring these home. Other than that the stay was fine.

Enjoyed our stay but the bathroom was a little unclean. However, we always bring lysol spray to make us feel a lot more comfortable; but, lot of long blonde hair on the bathroom floor and wall was toilet much. Toilet hinge was loose and urine slime was saturated underneath. Other than that it was ok. Just need to focus more on the sanitization of the bathroom.

Great value! Rooms are clean, front desk courteous and helpful, right off of the interstate! Can't beat this place! Has everything thing you need at a reasonable price!

Location is convenient. The staff were great. The room was clean. The bed was AWFUL!!!!! Mattress was worn out, lumpy and hard. Pillows were the thinnest and cheapest they could find. My back was hurting so bad when I woke up , I had trouble getting dressed. I should've slept in my car. Basically I paid $110 for a hot shower.

Very friendly, helpful staff. We chose this location because of their good rates and dog friendly policy!! There were several large dogs including ours but zero annoying barking from any rooms. Excellent clean grounds for taking your fur baby out to potty. The outdoor pool is in great shape. The hotel itself is clean but shabby...especially common areas need new carpeting. Plenty of parking with good visiblity to keep an eye on your vehicles.

The floors were dirty, it felt like everything was covered in sand. There were ants in the room. There was somebody's old sandwich still in the refrigerator. There was an odd red stain on the counter top by the sink. I had to get both the key cards reset during the stay. The staff was kind but I would not recommend anything else. I would not stay here again.

The mattresses are horrible. First night there got a couple hours sleep. Got moved next day to another room and that mattress was worse. Mattresses are hard and I felt every spring. Worst three nights of sleeping. Rooms were clean and staff were nice. I will never stay at this particular motel until they get new mattresses. If your tired and want a good nights sleep don’t stay here. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

This little hotel is proof that lightning strikes twice. I had my second stay within a week last night and I still sing the Praises of this management and housekeeping team and I'm going to have to stop giving reviews because now everyone knows my secrets of a good place to stay!! I actually told housekeeping as I was getting ready to check out, that my room was so p u r d y that I had to sleep with my eyes open. And as President Biden would say, no joke....

The Good: convenient location Friendly staff Mostly clean Things I didn't love: They only have coffee in the lobby and none in the rooms. I could have drank 5 of those tiny cups, and having to go from the 3rd floor each time made it not worth it. The bad: Roaches. There were about half a dozen roaches of various sizes in the room. To make it worse, they were German roaches, so if you manage to bring some home, it could be disastrous.

Room is good. Staffs also very friendly. They provide free breakfast ( cereals, breads and muffins). We found one or two cockroaches in room, otherwise good.

Easily the nastiest room I've ever stayed in!!! There was hair on the shower walls and toilet. Towels had stains on them. Clearly obvious this room was NOT cleaned. Beds were made but who knows if sheets were cleaned. Don't walk, RUN from this location!!

In my opinion, their customer service and treatment of guest is awful...and... in my oppinion ..It's a good idea to watch your bank account and making sure you don't get charged money you weren't expecting to be charged... Going forward I will not trust or stay at a Red Roof Inn.

I do NOT recommend this location. A friend of mine asked me for a recommendation for hotels. I have always loved the Red Roof brand and been extremely loyal to them so of course I recommend my friend book with them. As a result, she has stayed there multiple times and had planned to stay multiple more. HOWEVER, she needed to cancel her reservation for the weekend. She cancelled weeks in advance. She was in vehicle with us. I heard the employee state her reservation had been fully cancelled and she would not be charged. However, this weekend she was charged. Thinking some error had occurred she contacted them and tried to professionally and peacefully work it out. She discovered they had charged her on purpose and refused to refund anything. So, I called and asked what documentation she could provide to prove she had canceled this. I offered a variety of options which also included a request of them reviewing documentation on their end of phone and camera. They wouldn’t accept call logs, written/hard copy proof of cancellation, or if necessary statements from those in the vehicle. They called me back and instructed me to “do what whatever I have to do because no one is getting any money back.” Not only is this unprofessional but it’s unethical. I would never again trust them with my credit card information nor will I ever encourage any of my friends. I am also going cancel any further business related stays as is my family going forward. I am horrified that such dishonesty exists today. It’s not about the money. It’s about the employee who didn’t follow proper protocol in cancelations and also the manager being confrontational and unprofessional. Honestly, never again will I recommend or stay at a Red Roof Inn. Their actions have seriously damaged their brand image in my eyes going forward.
