Really good ramen, and not just for Antigua, even compared to the many ramen shops I've tried in NYC. First off the kitchen looked spotless when we arrived, the food arrived hot, quickly and looked beautiful with a nice variety of toppings. The broth for all three varieties were tasty as well as the noodles. I personally prefer my noodles with a little more bite, but they were better than most. The chef was attentive and obviously pleased to see how much we enjoyed his meal. I would definitely return if we had more time in Antigua. I suggest arriving just before opening time to get a seat right away. It is a small restaurant and seems to always have a wait outside.

If you know what y good ramen is: don’t come here. I was quite disappointed. You got the right idea but the techniques are just not right. First of all, didn’t pass the noddle test. As soon as I tested the noodle, it broke immediately. This means there’s no stretch, no chew, wrong flour, wrong technique. Noodles were terrible. Also flat. Ramen noodles are not flat. Chef to chef: broth, needs more depth, more bones, more reduction. It was a bit bland. The egg was not even cooked in spiced soy or plain soy, it was just an egg and it was over cooked. Pretty expensive for a ramen in Guatemala. Would not go again.

I drive 2 hours just to enjoy their food twice a month, "customer service I dont like it, too much bitter " but well the only most important thing to me there is the food. there are just 2 people that I like how they are with customers and I let them know, I hope bosses can see that.

I am no Ramen expert, but this place is definitely 5 stars! The noodles are fresh and have great texture! Also made in house, which is not that common. The prices are great for Antigua. I tried both their Shoyu and Spicy options, pictured below. A go to spot definitely!

Excellent Ramen and service! The shoyu and miso were amazing! Very savory, more than enough broth, super flavorful, the egg was cooked well, noodles perfectly Al dente! Please make this stop if you’re in the area!

The soup of the ramen was delicious, but very salty. The noodles were not fully cooked, and the soup was not soaked in the noodles at all. Although delicious for someone trying Asian food for the first time, I would not recommend this restaurant to Asians.

I’m a big fan of spicy ramen. This bowl of Picante got it just right! I finished the whole bowl including all of the broth. It was satisfying and delicious. The homemade noodles and included mushrooms made a difference. It was busy on a Friday night, but there was room for three of us. The wait staff was friendly. The music and the liveliness of the place was good. Highly recommend.

We are ramen snobs but the vegan ramens were exceptionally good, especially the sesame one. I cannot recommend this place enough, everything was so delicious and on point. Try the dessert which is surprising but has great flavors.

Had the best of Ramen here! It was definitely one of the best Ive ever had. The taste and spices were amazing. Right amout of spicy. I went here upon my friends recommendation. I also had the best Chamomile tea here. Highly recommend this place. Plus they make their own noodles! You can watch it from a glass right next to the kitchen. The staff here is incredible.

A most visit restaurant, excellent atmosphere and work environment. Let every customer around feel the vibes, and let you enjoy the food. Recommended to anyone visiting Antigua.

Enjoyed an incredible vegan ramen (tan tan men) and the beetroot dumplings (plus a ginger lemonade) The ramen itself was incredible and if you like a little heat you can request some chili oil like I did, but the flavor was dynamic without it. The dumplings were unique - the beet flavor didn’t overpower the dish. Definitely will come back.

The place smelled amazing! I got excited because it says on the menu “ask about our gluten free option,” so I did. I asked the server and she said I can get ramen gluten free. Then I ordered and they clarified if I was allergic or it was just a choice - they really know their stuff. They knew that soy sauce has gluten so they told me I only had one option from the ramen list. I ordered it (the curry) and they made GF noodles with it. Looked delicious, veggies were great, but the broth tasted a bit burned? I don’t know how to describe it. Sake was delicious. They really did such a kindness trying to cook for me. Just know you only really have limited options if you have allergies or dietary restrictions

Unfortunately, there is a lot left to be desired. It’s a little salty. The broth lacks the flavor that I am used to in Asia and Bay Area. The portion is small. Maybe it’s not fair to make the comparison but the benefit and cost ratio is low..

This place was such a unique experience. Inside you've got a hustle and bustle vibe, making the area close to the kitchen exciting, but it's actually quite big once you go to the back and feels cozy. The decor features retro signage from nostalgic brands like Saga. The staff is EXTREMELY aware of dietary restrictions. I am gluten free and I think a manager came out to ensure I knew which options were OK for me. My friend got the same dish, but with gluten--I could tell they changed they way the pork belly was cooked and substituted rice noodles in there. The manager also brought me the gluten free soy sauce and made sure I knew not to use the other one. Not only was everything delicious, but I felt really safe eating there. It's a hearty bowl too. Try the digestive tea infusion as well. It sounds medicinal, but it has a great flavor too!

Delicious ramen and a cool place. Unfortunately the noodles were a bit overcooked but everything else was good. Extra points for banning reggaeton music and for the pokemon decor.

The ramen here is great. Unfortunately every time I’ve been here they never have the Tonkotsu ramen from their menu which is a bummer because that is my favorite ramen. However, their shoyu ramen is really good. Having been to Japan before I can confirm that the ramen here is very similar to what you’d find in a shop over there. The interior of the restaurant is amazing. It really makes you feel as you’re in Tokyo, from all the bright signs they have to the JR train sign they have. Overall highly recommend, I always visit Kombu when I’m in Antigua. I recommend getting the pork Gyoza and the Kara-age. Also make sure to be there when they open so you can sit inside with all the cool signs!

Excellent service and atmosphere! The ramen tasted amazing. The noodle is freshly made. The broth is very rich. The toppings are delicious! I would certainly come back again next time when I visit Antigua~

Delicious, delicious ramen. This place is tucked away just a few blocks off the main steers. It’s cozy inside, plenty of seating though, good decor, and friendly staff. I started with the number one item - Shoyu Ramen - and though I’ve only a week in Antigua I will be back to try the spicy one.

Yum ramen, we tried the spicy and one of the vegan. Both were taste full. Sake is also good and staff nice & helpful.

Went twice during my stay in Antigua and was very impressed by the food and service. I had the picante the first time and the shoyu the second time. I regret not trying the tonkotsu which was on the wall menu and not the one they handed us. The picante was my favorite of the two. The home made noodles are delicious and the sear on the pork belly was perfect. The marinated eggs were also cooked to perfection. I also really enjoyed the ginger lemonade. Highly recommend.

I have to say that it was really good. The broth is very tasty, but it is not the best Ramen I’ve had. The service is quick, the material beautiful and qualitative. MAKE SURE to book a table or you’ll have to wait outside for while for a table. The +++ point is that they make your noodles homemade.. If I could advise… make your noodles THICKER please !!!!!!

This place made me happy. The food is excellent. I had Gyoza, Tantanmen Ramen and beer. Sitting at the bar we could see how much love and professionalism goes into the food here. Service is quick and friendly. The music was good and just loud enough, the vibe was chill but energetic (if that makes sense). Full marks 5/5

It's a cool concept, but overpriced as I can get an instant noodle packet to have more flavour that the standard soup there. The spicy ramen was pretty good tho. Would make it so much easier if they did proper take away instead of "prepare at home boxes".

Stopped here for a quick bite and it was very good. I ordered the ramen and pot stickers. Prices are industry standard, and would come back here again for an informal afternoon snack. I would not recommend for a social event since it is not very spacious, although the wait staff was super accommodating.

Super good! This was the second Ramen shop I’ve been to in Guatemala and this one his hands down the best. We ordered the Shoyu Ramen, Miso Ramen, vegetarian giyoza, iced tea and ginger lemonade all were delicious! The staff was super friendly and very accommodating as one in our group cannot have pork. Overall excellent service, ingredients and taste. Definitely worth the price.
