It has a very nice and friendly environment. Servers are friendly and offer great service. Drinks are also great unless you want to order your own bottle. This place is great to visit at any time. If you a tourist in Santo Domingo don't leave without eating here. They also have an auto detailing service right next door. So, if you got your car and need to be detailed or washed take it here, and u can have lunch or dinner while your waiting. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT.

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Santo Domingo, the bustling capital city of the Dominican Republic. Today, we're headed to a hidden gem known as Mr. Grilles, a restaurant that's quickly gaining popularity among locals and visitors alike. As I step inside, I'm struck by the cozy ambiance of the place. The lighting is warm and inviting, and the walls are adorned with colorful artwork and photographs. The staff greets me with a smile and I'm immediately taken care of. The menu is a fusion of Dominican and international cuisine, and there's something for everyone. I opt for the ceviche to start, a dish that's famous in the Caribbean. The freshness of the seafood and the tangy flavors of the citrus juice make it the perfect appetizer. For my main course, I go for the grilled octopus, a dish that's not easy to get right. But Mr. Grilles has nailed it. The octopus is perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the accompanying vegetables add a lovely crunch. It's a dish that's as pleasing to the eye as it is to the palate. The service is exceptional. The staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They're happy to offer recommendations and make sure that every need is taken care of. But what sets Mr. Grilles apart is its commitment to sustainability. They source their ingredients locally and use eco-friendly practices in their kitchen. It's a refreshing approach that's rare to find in the restaurant industry. As I finish my meal, I can't help but feel grateful for the experience. Mr. Grilles is a true hidden gem in Santo Domingo, and I highly recommend it to anyone who's looking for a delicious meal in a cozy and sustainable setting.

Cool place for a nice drink. Beautiful women everywhere. Downstairs is more of a restaurant lounge feel. Go upstairs for more of a club feel.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Mr Grilled during the day and I must say, it is one of the most aesthetically attractive places on the strip. While I didn't have a chance to try their food, my experience with the drinks and overall atmosphere deserves a glowing review. As soon as I walked in, I was captivated by the warm and cozy ambiance. The interior design exudes a welcoming and inviting vibe that instantly puts you at ease. The combination of modern and rustic elements creates a unique and charming oasis in the heart of Santo Domingo. During my visit, I decided to order drinks only, and the attentive waiter promptly took my order. Although the drinks had good flavor, I found them to be a little lacking in strength. However, this could be a personal preference, as some might appreciate the more subtle and nuanced flavors. One of the highlights of Mr Grilled is the two-level layout, which adds an interesting dynamic to the space. Whether you prefer a more intimate setting on the ground floor or a birds-eye view of the bustling strip from the upper level, there is a spot to suit your mood. The small indoor area is perfect for those who seek a quieter and more private setting. Mr Grilled strikes me as an ideal place for a date night, a casual gathering with friends, a fun night out, or even a place to meet someone new. The warm atmosphere and thoughtful design make it easy to relax and enjoy the company of others. In summary, while I cannot comment on the food, my experience at Mr Grilled left a positive impression. From the attractive aesthetics to the attentive service and inviting ambiance, it's a place worth visiting. I would recommend Mr Grilled to anyone looking for a charming spot to unwind, enjoy a drink, and create lasting memories.

The food was amazing and the drinks too. Drinks prices were reasonable, and food is amazing. Sometimes, the waiters were not checking on us as often as we had hoped, but it got better afterward. The DJs played good music, but too loud for me. The overall experience was good, I definitely recommend it 👍

I’ve eaten here twice. My first dining experience was enjoyable. The ambiance, food, and drinks were great on the first level. The waiter was friendly and he frequently asked if we needed anything and if we were enjoying our food. We even ordered a Mr. Manny’s to go. Fast forward to last week, we decided to eat upstairs which has a more club like vibe. Not sure why because I was a little winded taking the stairs up. It’s a nice little hike because there’s no elevator. After seating ourselves, about five minutes later the waitress came to take a drink order. My boyfriend placed his order, and I asked her to come back for my order. The place was not busy as we were the second table that was occupied. There was a party of about 10 people next to us. By the time I came back from the restroom (which was nice and clean), my boyfriend placed my order and my drink was on the table but he said they were out of chicken wings. I understand the larger party required more attention but by the time Sharlyn, the waitress, got to our table, she was unprofessional, unfriendly, curt, and just had bad energy. My boyfriend’s food arrived before mine. About 15 minutes later, I was brought a salad and steak but I ordered fajitas. I told the waiter I didn’t order a steak and Sharlyn approached the table and began to yell at the waiter, leaned over me, and picked up my plate all while going back and forth with the waiter. I had to pick up my drink and move it to avoid it from spilling. Due to the confusion about my order, I said leave the steak and bring the grilled onions, bell peppers and tortillas. After finishing my salad, I called her back to the table to ask where my grilled veggies were and she said she didn’t put the order in because I said I wanted the steak - something I did not say. At this time, I’m waiting an extra 20 minutes to get fajitas that were ordered 45 minutes ago. She took the steak back, purposefully ignored our table, and was just unapologetic and unconcerned about the mix up. And then while I was eating the fajitas, my hand was dripping with meat oil since the fat had not been drained. I had no utensils and one used napkin. I had to call another waiter to get a fork. The dining experience was horrible to say the least so I complained to the boss about the wrong food order, inattentiveness, and the waitress’s rudeness. The boss called Sharlyn to the table and she seemed irritated and annoyed so I asked her if she was ok and she said yes and stormed from the table. The boss apologized for her behavior. After we finished our food, we sat there for another 10 minutes. I again had to call Sharlyn to ask for the cuenta and while speaking with another worker she pointed at me (and not in a good way) but I was more appalled when I received the cuenta with the word Moreno on it and I wondered why was Moreno on a cuenta? I never seen this on any cuenta in Veron, Punta Cana, Bavaro, Palenque, Samana, or Bayaguana. I asked the boss why would Moreno be on a bill and he said it is for a customer’s description. The boss said the table next to us would have “birthday party” on the cuenta which seems reasonable but I’ve never seen Moreno or a customer description on any cuentas…really weird and appears racist …but I’m sure I won’t come back to dine at this specific location again. But for the food, the salad lettuce was fresh and crisp. The steak fajita meat was seasoned but the cheapest cut, extremely fatty and oily. The tortillas were cold as was the Mr. Manny’s entrée that had old rice and tough steak.

👍👍 Very nice place in Santo Domingo, food is well cooked in wood fire so the smoky flavor is a must taste, Brisket is the best followed by the roast pork and the ribs are nice, sometimes have wild hog (jabali) that is very similar to regular pork, the cranberry sauce for the ribs is great but i prefer...
